Cartographer vs. Vanquisher + Cartographer

Finishing up soon with my Legendary Guardian title, I thought that maybe I would go to EotN to get the Master of the North title. Before that, I considered doing the cartographer titles, since those seem like they'd be easy and quick titles to finish.

But, I also read on the wikis that there's good synergy in vanquishing an area and then exploring it. This would allow me to kill two birds with one stone.

I'd like to just do cartography to get it done, but vanquishing with the title would get more work done in shorter time. I'd like some people to throw out some input on which method they think would be better.

I've always done the exploring in NM, then vanquished it seperately. It'd probably be annoying not being able to finish exploring because you failed to vanquish, but I guess that depends on how good you are.
