Kurzick vs. Luxon, which to choose

I need to choose one, plz answer basied on asthetics, everyone knows how they differ gameplay wise (correct me if I'm wrong: kurz USUALLY win and hold more places, while lux can AB more due to shorter waiting times. Easier to get into top Lux alliance than top Kurz alliance---- not sure about this one: Kurz genarally play AB capping things, while Lux mob together and kill)

Heres what I know: Lux are nomadic, seafaring (with no sea) people. Wear religious looking savage looking garb. Their land is a sea of jade with islands in the middle of it. Their armor is cool but not as good as Kurz armor.

Kurz are settled, forest-dwellers. They wear the highest extent of emo/goth garb you could imagine. Their land is a dark forest thats been petrified by jade, looks basically like a haunted forest. Their armor is better looking than lux.


The general sum of their asthetics difference is, from what I concluded, you become a luxon if you spend WAY too much time outside (you become a brown guy), while you become a kurzick if you spend WAY too much time inside (you become grey :P ). can't decide they both seem to have an equal amount of pros and cons (which i think was the point). Im leaning towards kurz because they arn't nomadic and live in a forest BUT the emo/makeup thing turns me off, also I kindof think the lux area is cooler looking... ugh can't decide.

Well if you think kurz armor looks better...go with that. Thats how I chose tbh.

Well armor isn't that big of a deal b/c i have a ranger and both lux and kurz armor isn't too spectacular for rangers, AND I have nightfall, whos ancient armor looks MUCH cooler (and is only 10k may i remind you)

Luxon and Kurzicks win equally in AB. They both suck at capping and think mobbing is awesome.

Go with Kurzicks if you think their armor is better looking. AB doesn't mean shit, both sides are full of bad players.

Aesthetically, Kurzick has better looking armor hands down.

Luxons though, take their AB VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY. I'm talking life or death SERIOUS BUSINESS. I know this from having the misfortune of getting 20k luxon faction to buy 2 pieces of Luxon armor on 2 different characters. Kurzicks are more chill, whatever about AB.

Which armor do you prefer? Do you want to max the title?

Chose whatever side has the nicest armor in your opinion... and if you really wanna max out the title, chose Kurzick because FFF and HFF makes it a lot easier.

He just said armor isn't a big deal and people are still suggestioning to go with the side with the "better" armor?

Unless i misunderstood his second post, frankly this whole topic is a bit confusing. If you do not care for the armor just pick the side you like best. I would go with the Luxons, that is my opinion. I like the style and enviroment a bit better.

Also, your a bit wrong about AB. Kurzicks and Luxons win both equally in AB, and Luxons do not mob. I find that Kurzicks are the mobbers, but then again both sides mob every now and then. I just think that Kurzicks mob more so..

The only real difference between the two sides are the armor styles and the skill icons for the allegiance skills. Aside from that, they're identical. The whole Luxon/Kurzick thing is basically red team vs blue team, with fancier team names. You may as well just flip a coin to decide.

From the PvE perspective, it doesn't matter which side you choose as you can do both with no real penalties - and you need to go down both sides for the Protector, Guardian, Vanquisher and Cartography titles.


That being said, I'm in a Kurzick guild. I prefer the cleaner lines and more elegant styling of Kurzick armor, plus I love trees
