Let me recap:
* Tons of districts in one forgotten outpost.
* Party search was used extensivelly and for the first time you could actually use it to get parties reliably.
* There was finally strong urge to group in pugs (two quests needed for effective farm)
* Month of favor sending "gw is not dead" message
Was this event finally first all around successfull "double x" event?

I don't see how you can call it successful, since that boost in activity and population was pretty much concentrated in one area. What do you think's gonna happen when the weekend is over?

Then we go on knowing there are still a lot of people playing this game. I never expected the title hunting to get so out of hand it would cause a spontanious favor reset.

I'd say the success of this weekend is much more noticable than other events.
1. Tons of people congregating in one outpost instead of being spread out all over the place for such events as double XP for skill caps.
2. The Favor spam being broadcast in the major cities where most people who aren't participating in SS/LB farming runs hang out.
Most other weekends have less of an impact on the community as a whole and cater more towards individuals. And since the Salahja run is so easy to do, and there's no skill required, fewer people shun PUGs for H/H in this instance. Hopefully it'll extend to other areas of the game as well.

I agree, this was a very sucessful event.
Shame to see the rollback on the Favor time, but we might get it put back in an update after the event ends.
As for those that think it was all in one area, I saw several districts in towns this weekend that were far from the point farming zones.

I really enjoyed this weekend, although it was grinding I actually had a lot of fun. Probably due to the fact it was really easy, we got a lot of loot and met some nice people. I'm hoping they can do something similar again soon.
I imagine things will be pretty busy next week as well, with the release of the Bonus Mission Pack. Anyone think they'll do something special for that? I'm ready for the price of weapon mods to increase, as everyone gets easy access to max gold weapons..

And yeah the weekend was a total success. And i already had the 2 titles maxed but i visited remains just to see the action was fun chatting in the outpost^^

OK, I still say it was a great weekend, it enabled me to max two titles in a decent, e.g. half, amount of time.
Bad aftertaste: The favor reset.
Not that I would bother with FoW or UW anymore, but it feels sloppy that such trivial things can happen. Also see Ice Crown and bugs in events. ANet needs to focus more on quality, doing things right from the start. There are enough things that need fixing, they do not need to add more like such easy to avoid things that end in sad things like a favor reset.

The grind is optional. I appreciated it, but I didnt enjoy the grinding and stopped at 25k lb points from 12k. I hate grinding, but made progress towards my title.

Started out friday with less then 2k LB points and now ive got the title, same goes for sunspear.
I think it was indeed a succesfull weekend, loads of players online, i even noticed quite a lot of lagg when the event started, probably caused by a lot of people loggin in and do their runs, but the lagg went after a minute, never saw it again.
Must say its mindkilling grinding but what the hell right, it got me what i wanted in half the time it would normally take, and got some decent drops as well.

Very successful even in a such short/minor event, 10x better than any typical PvP weekend!
Met lots of ppl in remains and DoA! lots of ursanway group too, I love grind lol
BTW: u don't fit to play this game if u can't survive such minor grinding (lb/ss max)

This event finally got me motivated enough to grind out my 10th title so I could go get my Rainbow Phoenix. But sadly not motivated enough to grind him to lvl 20 very quickly.

Except just SS, i felt proud....and relieved that i don't have to grind for it anymore

I achieved the titles from Vanquishing, not farming one zone. This just encouraged me to stop putting off my Elona vanquishing, I was able to do half of the zones before getting bored.
