Do you unlock new pvp armor? (by buying campaigns, gaining allyfaction, etc)

Haven't seen this topic or ANY info about this ANYWHERE. I first had nightfall and had a basic set of around 3-4 pvp armor choices. I bought factions and got the option of using Canthan, Krytan, and w/e the island's name is' pvp armor sets.

I had no idea you get more pvp armor choices when you buy new campaigns! So I have nightfall, but I don't have the option using ANY nightfall armor for pvp, wierd. Was this a newly implemented feature? If I get prophecies, will I get I unlock Tyrian armor or something?

Oh and with kurz/lux faction, can you unlock kurz/lux armor for your pvp chars. I heard something along the lines of this.

read title before posting, im well aware that you get new skins by tournament points, but i think I've found a new way to get them!

You can unlock more armor for PvP characters by using Tournament Reward Points, which you can get by betting via the Xunlai Tournament House or by actually participating in tournaments.

You can only unlock new armour for PvP characters with Tournament reward points.

I can't find info on this ANYWHERE, could some1 plz answer, im basing what allyfaction I should join based on this, because if I can unlock Kurzick pvp armor, I'll join kurzick just for that (I'm a ranger and i don't like the ranger kurzick armor, but if I can unlock the armor for my pvp chars, then I won't mind joining them)

No, you cannot get Kurz/Lux armor for your PvP characters unless you have enough tournament reward points to qualify for the piece of armor.

By being Kurzick, the only thing that gets you is to play Alliance Battles for the Kurzicks.

To answer your thread topic of "Do you unlock new pvp armor by buying campaigns, gaining faction, etc" the answer is no. The only way to get extra PvP armors is through the Point system. So, sorry, no. You haven't found a new way of getting PvP armors.

You don't really unlock them, as they're part of what you get automatically for having that campaign.

For core professions, so long as you have Prophecies or Factions, you automatically get access to Ascalon and Krytan. In addition, if you have Prophecies, you get access to a few of the Prophecies only standard armor art (2 or 3 of the 4 or 5 available to each profession). Factions adds standard Shing Jea and Canthan, as well as Seitung, Exotic and Imperial for the Factions only professions.

Nightfall adds standard Istani, Elonian and Sunspear but ONLY for the Nightfall professions. I'm not sure what a Nightfall only account gives to the core professions, since I don't have a Nightfall only account.

This, however, is going off of my memory, with a trip to the wiki to jolt my memory on what was available and what was not. Take it with a grain of salt.

oh ty i had no idea, im pretty sure its not anywhere mentioned on wiki though.

that sucks, we don't get any skins for buying Nightfall, oh well atleast I have factions skins now
