Next ingame event?

Does anyone remember what the next ingame event will be and if there's any opportunity to trade things for sugar? I think the next event is the Dragon Festival or Canthan New Year, but is anyone sure about this?

The next event would be Canthan New Year, but they havn't confirmed whether they will hold it. This is what Gaile said:

I think they are questioning whether to hold it or not, at least partly, becuase Chinese New Year is going to be on a completely different date. I have high hopes, however, that CNY will be held in April since it's their established birthday celebration for the game.

They could always *gasp* just use the same weekend as last year. It's Canthan New year, not Chinese New year, which means they get to decide when it happens.

My dervish's rat (Splinter) wouldn't like it either. He may have to break out his rat-fu if they don't!
