Okay, I 'm not complaining because I expected this was coming for a while, but my main toon has just won me a 72hour ban for offensive name. She was a necro named Jehovahs Waitress. This wasn't meant to be a dig at real JWs, but rather an expression of my love of puns. Oh well there's nothing so inoffensive that someone won't complain.
Now the issue, when I can get back on, I assume I'll be asked to change this name to something else. So I'm soliciting suggestions for a replacement name that fullfils my general requirements:
a) Funny
b) Not religious
c) A pun, preferably
d) not a respelling of a banned word
e) completely inoffensive

After looking at the End User Agreement, I can't figure out exactly what rules exist for offensive names. As near as I can tell an offensive name is one that someone (anyone who reports) finds offensive. It also seems that this is the only type of ban that can be appealed. So I ask, has anyone here even been banned for an offensive name, and then had a successful appeal? Since it's so subjective, I'm not sure on what grounds I would appeal. "But it's funny!" doesn't seem like it would hold water. Nor would "neither I nor my guild finds it offensive" work, I would imagine. Can anyone think of a legitimate excuse for an appeal?
