Guild Wars 2. Will it stand up to its potential?

As we all know. The beta version of Guild Wars 2 will be available at the end of this year. But do you think GW2 will stand up to its potential? The other games were I would have to say great. Even though I have only played prophecies, and seen footage from Factions, NightFall and Eye Of The North. We are not sure it will stand up to the other games...Also, what will the theme be of the game? I think they might make it like Prophecies, mostly med- evil But. They might come through with the some other themes from the other games... We will just have to wait and see. Whats your input?
