So i re-installed my old Nvidia card seems as how i have non-stop issues running games with my ATI ( posted a thread few days ago about it ). While i dont know if infact my problems are coming from my vid card i decided to give it a try anyway.
My question is..while monitoring the temps with the program from nvidia site it's showing my Gpu at 56 degrees celcius NOT running game. Which i'm guessing is 132 degrees F . I could be wrong though i suck at converting. Is that normal or high ??
thanks in advance.
EDIT: left the event recorder on while i ran the game. Yah it black screen crashed after about 3mins or so. Heres the info up to the crash...Any thoughts heh ?

Quick question regarding temps.

Well, my video card runs at 57C with the game on, which is in the green zone (Good & Stable), So I guess you're not that bad off, shouldn't cause crashes or anything.. But if you're black-screening with both ATI and Nvidia cards then It's not your video card, but maybe your Mobo.
Cause my brothers computer stopped booting up and kept black screening sometimes, and we finally ruled out that it was his motherboard, the little fan on it was broken so it was overheating and crashing. But by fan don't be confused with the Processor heatsink, I mean a fan that was on the mobo.

no fan on the mobo << lol made me laugh ) Just the processor heatsink. Suppose i'll get the little fan out of the closet and take the side of twr off and put it blowing into there on high. If its a overheating issue i'd assume that would solve/make it stable longer atleast. If it still happens regardless time after time again i'm just gonna throw this comp out and buy new. Before i put 4 more knuckle marks in it.
Any thoughts on a new comp ? Anything but an AMD based one. I've grown to HATE them now :P
EDIT: btw thx again bri. your the only one who answers me it seems.

Heh heh, yeah I try. :P I kinda laughed at the fan thing on his mobo too, cause it was kinda random to be there. But yeah go a head and try out that fan, that should work (Only assuming that it's a heat problem) - Cause on my old PC the only way to keep it cool in the summer was to take the side panel off and blow a mini fan right into it, or else it would catch fire and burn my house down.

My CPU stays at a good 24C-25C while running Guild Wars for over an hour.
