Strategies for completing D'allesio Seaboard HM?
Tyla
Hey, I was currently doing d'allesio seaboard with a guildie today but failed miserably, because we needed to rush to the confessor so he doesn't die...
Heroes get crippled (hybrid's) so he dies...and the HM enemies have speedboost anyway...
Anyone know how to get round this problem?

Squishy ftw
I used 3 smiting heros, 2 of them had extinguish and I don't recall having any problems with it like this.
great sir s
maybe take a human RC or something with sufficient condition removal.
Chrono Re delle Ere
I hero henched that and had just no problem. Can't remember where you have cripple issues....

Probably the annoying Grasping Ghoul and their Crippling Attack.
They spawn on the path to the confessor.

They arent a problem, just bring smiters. With smiters in the party you won't even NEED strategy.

Yes - i used smiting.
The main problem is the Crippling spam.

Moar smite condition maybe, draw, dismiss etc.

The crippling spam is irritating, it destroys your ability to escape, kite, or even chase down foes. It also fuels their "ViM!". However, this should not really be a problem, the foes in this mission are few enough/fragile enough that using smiting or traditional fire/curses can just shred them.
I don't remember having to rush to the confessor but if you do, just equip yourself with a speed boost and a quick heal, aggro with your heroes then run up and give him the small boost he needs to survive while you heroes kill the grasps.

Isn't this the third thread about D'Alessio HM? Anyway, I just ran my regular sword build (Godmode :P), with Judge's Insight, and took Melonni with Avatar of Balthazar. The rest I just filled with 2 healers and random henchies, wasn't that bad.

Bah you do not know the sheer terror of being crippled by the ghouls that grasp.
Next time I suppose we should kill them and not rush to dorian.

I had a similar problem with this mission - the Grasps would spawn as soon as we came into range of the path leading to the Confessor, and he would get killed before we could even reach him (even when we went for heavy condition removal). We soon figured out it was something to do with following the bonus path. By missing out the path for the bonus (and backtracking for it after saving the confessor) and just going the normal mission route, we were able to intercept the grasps before they could reach the confessor. It does take longer doing it this way, but it does get it done. One thing to be wary of when doing this - there is often one last additional spawn of undead after you have saved the confessor. It screwed me over a few times on my HM attempts. Be sure to run around the area before backtracking for the bonus, or he will get killed when you're running the offering. When I did this mission in HM, it took about 3 minutes for this last mob to spawn - so be patient. It usually seems to spawn when you head towards the path that leads to the Ettins, and it appears to the right of the fountain (where the boss comes from). To be on the safe side, I'd kill everything in the area to make sure you have triggered all spawns.
Good luck!

Took the MM and N/Rt of Sabway with a smite hero, then Alesia and Little Thom. When you get to the group of undead that will rush up to Dorian, let them aggro the White Mantle on the way and kill them there. If you wait too long and they kill the White Mantle warrior and get to Dorian, you're pretty much already screwed. If you are a monk/ritualist/dervish/paragon or whatever with skills/spells that can heal others, take that, it may help keep that one guy alive.

I H/H it pretty easily just the other day. I went as a warrior myself with the standard d-slash, FGJ, SY skill bar. As for heroes, I took a MM, a restoration necro, and a smiter. The smiter was ray of judgement, judges insight(which he would cast on me), and some other random skills. Just make sure to flag your heroes in the mending circle. Holy damage shoud annihilate everything.

Same here. Holy damage and flagging everyone in the Healing Circle is key.
Then just take out the mobs as they come. Try to watch for them and engage them as they come through onto the main square.

Lol tyla maybe you'd stop failing with your miserable smiting, mind blast, melee and such stuff. I did this easily h/h. Cant remember the combo anymore it was probably the normal one i use in tyria hm. 2 sf eles (yes sf! if memory serves you flamed sf to the bottom...) 1 n/rt healer and rt/n mm. Hench were probably alesia and orion.
