Men I love doin the quests in GWen, Im doin my 3th HM hero book.
BUT... I run into the same stupid thing again, and it cost me 2 Elite Necro tomes.
What am I talking about?... I'm talking about the end of the Against The Char quest.
There arre 2 bosses, A warrior and A Necro Charr boss. When you defeat them
the quest is finisht... VERY ABRUPT.
No sinamatic and the wurse thing NO CHANCE to pic up your drops after
defeating those 2 bosses.. This abrupt ending has cost me 2 Elite necro tomes
over the time.
PLS fix this, and give players the chance to get those drops after finishing
this quest.

Is it that hard to pick your drops up before killing the last monster? Plus, what idiot sees a 10k's worth drop and leaves it whilst hacking away?

Have you guys ever done this quest? You really have NO CHANCE to pick the boss loot up before the cinematic. I've done this quest atleast ten times. Luckily, the next outpost you enter has the items in the little box thingy. This happens even if you spawn in the center of many many charr and your whole party wipes and you hit resign or mappout.

When you go back to town, either by fighting your way to Doomlore, or resigning, they will be in the unclaimed items window. If you map travel back to town, they will not. I also have done this quest many times, but I always used /resign and got my drops.

C'mon what are the odds of 2 necro elite tomes of dropping two out of three times when you're using a full team? You're probably lying and either way, the box that shows things you didn't pick up should show and then you should just press accept all.

Had a gold drop the other day after this same quest and couldn't get it. I was pissed after the cinemantic and I didnt get my Gold. I typed /resign and was mapped into town and sure enough that box appeared and my req 12 gold longbow was there. Maybe try that next time

I always get my drops when I finish this quest after a simple map travel back to town and that box appears.

16k is a lot to many people. But he shouldn't have lost it in the first place; he just needed to /resign and it'd be in his little box when he got back to town.

But alas they are right. There is a little box when you enter an outpost that gives you the loot you missed durring the mission, tough luck bud.

And yes, moste of the times, when you get to a outpost you get a box with
unclaimd items... BUT This doesnt always happen. It happens,and not only
to me...that the the unclaimd items DO NOT show in the next outpost.
And that bothers me...

I play GW from the start and understand it completely.
BUT to recognize a bug You must be a lot smarter than you Miyagi.
THERE was no cinematic and there was no box with unclaimd items in the
outposts, and this has happend to me before an not only to me.

The reason there was no unclaimed items box was because you end up back in Grothmar Wardowns as soon as the mission completes, rather than a town/outpost. You only get the unclaimed items box when you reach a town/outpost. The best thing to do here is talk to Pyre and quickly /resign. If you don't reach a town/outpost before the 10 min limit on assigned drops, you won't get it at all.

and you have to do this ....
I dont care about the 16 K I HAVE ENOUGH MONY.
And I have bin to Grothmar Wardowns. Couse I know how the game and this
quest is playd..
But it Occured several times that there isnt a box with Unclaimd items
And NO i didnt w8 more than 10 minutes.
So All I want to say is... there is probably a bug that (not always) ruin this
quest at the and... It shows in de Hanbook as completed, but there are no drops to be claimd. Not after resigning and not after being back in Grothmar.
Okay, Im not English, so maybe for some people its a bit hard to read...
But thats how it is...
So, is there a chance to look if there is any bug to this quest...
And if not ok....

You didn't say anything about having gone back to a town/outpost within 10 minutes. You just said "no drops to be claimed."

I haven't been getting them in town all the time eithor. Only it was a gate too far and it dropped near the gate.

The point is "This is a bug in the game" so yes you can get around it but its a bug so should be fixed.

They really should rethink the 9 seconds they give you to pick up drops, but this isnt the first quest with this exact problem. There is a quest in Nightfall, Assault on Beknur Harbor, where you face a large number of foes that die leaving little or no time to pick up all the drops.
