A skill to stay alive in AB?
Cylon
Ive tryed using Healing sig in ab and it doesnt work out so well. I get in groups with monks and the monks either smite or they heal random people. Now Im not going to bring up the whole HH/HB thing here because I know this is flame city for w/mo. What can i use to stay alive in ab its kind of annoying not being able to kill a sin or a derv.....Ive been playing my war two years it almost seems like they have been pushed aside for the dervs and sins. Thanks ~King Cylon

Go with a good prot hybrid monk, or use heal sig, or both. I'd heavily suggest the monk.

Don't use HealSig mid-battle if your being hit.
No, they haven't been pushed asside for derv's and sin's because warriors can do better!
Go get guildie monk?

if u really want self heal, drop tactics/healing prayrs (please don't tell me you use them) and spec W/D earth prayrs for vital boon and signet of pious light

Or spec into Wind Prayers to get Natural Healing if you know that you won't have any people enchanting you (and if there are people enchanting you such as a Prot Monk, you're fine anyway).
On a different note, Restful Breeze, although not good for casting mid-battle, is also a decent choice. If you see a Sin running at you, cast it on yourself and wait out the spike, then try to cripple them or get a speed boost up to take them down while they're running. Since AB is seen as a series of short skirmishes with long runs inbetween, Restful Breeze is also useful if you get hit with heavy degen while running to a shrine (such as a Ranger who hit you with Apply Poison and/or Burning Arrow while you're running by). Just cast it on yourself and keep going.

like they said, if you dont know how to use healing sig go W/D and use vital + sig of pious light.

Natural Healing is your best bet, same profession as Rending Touch anyway so why not use it?
even if you are enchanted, 10 energy isnt too bad as your only other energy skills should be frenzy and bull's... both cost 5 and give you plenty of time to recharge your energy

Yup yup, Natural Healing.

Rush. You'll rarely find snares since all rangers are probably packing Barrage and eles are packing ele attunement. Main thing you won't outrun are all the AoB Dervishes running around

If its dervish and sins that are spiking you when you heal try bringing [skill]Wary Stance[/skill] to cover your use of Healing Signet

my findings: playing anything else than a ranger in AB is just terrible.
I've tried it with warrior, but you will always end up fighting riposte warriors, dervish and ele tanks.. A ranger pounds all of these into the ground.

[QUOTE=JR]Wary Stance ends when you use a skill. [skill]Disciplined Stance[/skill] is a better option.
QUOTE]
Wary stance does end when you use a skill, however it doesn't count Healing signet as being used untill it grants the HP.
While it is running it blocks 100% of attack skills, which are what deal the most dmg to you and where all interupts derive from, save spells.
While you may not require any energy if you have even Frenzy in your skill bar the bonus +5energy returns for every block, not only covering the cost of the skill itself, can replenish you enough to kill whomever is attacking you.

Healing Breeze is pretty failure too. Natural Healing or Healing Signet.

Natural Healing is the best warrior self-heal by far.
