Why is Flesh Golem 'bad'?

I know there are better skills for a MM out there, but for a newbie MM its a good skill to base this off. I use to have trouble getting into groups at parts in nightfall because I was running Flesh Golem over OoU(Order of Undeath) or AoL(Aura of the Lich) MM. I'm running a AoL MM now, but why does it seem that flesh golem is frowned on by quite a few people?
