sab's build plus what?
uberwan kapwni
So, I've been doing quite a bit of HM missions, farming rep pts, and vanquishing lately. I almost always go with my friend, who uses Sab's build all the time. Since Sab's build is all I really used by myself, I am in need of another good set of heros that I and my friend (with Sab's build) can play with effectively in HM. Right now for heroes I am using P/W party support, an HB monk, and a sword warrior with hundred blades and conjure frost. Any help/comment would be appreciated. Thanks.

enlighten us....who the hell is sab?

The N/Rt and the P/W have healing covered so you want a prot Monk, not heal.
A Moebius/DB 'Sin is nice for some sustainable single-target damage since that is something lacking with the 3 necros.
Also, consider an interrupter, N/Me with Psychic Distraction works well.

Well... when you spend enough time on these boards you get to know the names of people.
Anyways, Sab is the creator of a build using 3 necro/rit heroes. One mm, one SS, and one restoration. The build has incredible synergy. The restoration rit works extremely well, as soul reaping gives him enough energy to continuously spam his spells.
Back to what the OP was asking... I vanquish with a friend a lot too. Usually its me taking the 3 necros, but my friend will take 2 monk monks(WoH and ZB) and the final slot is optional. Really it depends on what you and your friend are running yourselves. If you are both putting out significant damage, use a support hero like a para or rit. If you feel like you are in need of some more damage, take an ele or rit(splinter weapon).

My usual setup while playing with sabway'er - Prot Monk + Interrupter (ranger usually)+ Support (P or Rt).
Teutonic Paladin
When I team up with other's playing Sab I take DSlash SY on myself, BHA ranger with Shelter, Splinter/Wards Rit, and a SoR monk. The BHA shuts down casters and allows easy aggro of double damage ele/rit bosses, the Rit adds more Splinter Weapons (Can you ever have enough?), and the SoR Monk allows me to pre-prot myself for aggro.

What are you playing?
What is your friend playing?
What area are you working on atm?
Those three questions would help out a lot more in any answer someone can give you.
An interrupter of some kind is very helpful almost anywhere. BHA is commonly used for that but any interrupter helps. You listed a paragon already and most people will agree that a good para helps immensely, too bad its a hero so no TNTF or SY but still. I would recommend a protection based monk perhaps or as mentioned a /rt with Shelter perhaps for a little damage mitigation.
A lot really depends on what the human players are running and where you are fighting.
GL and HF though and I hope we have helped a little.

Thank you all very much for the help so far... I am really liking what I see. Sorry I forgot to mention what I am and my friend. I am a ranger, can go about any build there is, but usually in HM I either go BHA or ebon dust volley. My friend is a necro, who usually goes arcane echo SV with pain inverter and necrosis. We really go all over the place, so its hard so say where we will be. I'm looking for good all around hero builds I guess. Sorry I forgot to mention this stuff before, and thanks to everyone who has responded and who will respond.

This is a build I like to use when not using the three necro setup:
[card]Blinding Surge[/card][card]Chain Lightning[/card][card]Ancestors' Rage[/card][card]Enervating Charge[/card][card]Glyph Of Lesser Energy[/card][card]Air Attunement[/card][card]Death Pact Signet[/card]
[card]Word Of Healing[/card][card]Signet Of Rejuvenation[/card][card]Reversal Of Fortune[/card][card]Dismiss Condition[/card][card]Protective Spirit[/card][card]Aegis[/card][card]Resurrection Chant[/card]
[card]Spear Of Lightning[/card][card]Blazing spear[/card][card]Disrupting Throw[/card][card]Epidemic[/card][card]Defensive Anthem[/card][card]Aria Of Restoration[/card][card]Anthem Of Flame[/card][card]Aggressive Refrain[/card]
I dont like BHA ranger heroes as they tend to shoot off the BHA before the target has stopped moving, and therefore miss. I run as BHA, whilst my friend would probably be a necro with feast of corruption or something, depends on what he feels like. If im on my own (without a 3 necro hero setup, i replace Chain Lightning with Splinter Weapon)
Probably dont need Enervating Charge (as the curse necro deals with weakness) on the Ele so you could probably change it for something like Lightning Orb.

Disable BHA and assign a hotkey to it.
Martin Firestorm
I'd bring an ele/rit with wards, fire skills, death pact signet, and elemental attunement as your elite, a ranger/mes interrupter withe the usual ranger skills plus power drain, res sig, and instead of BHA maybe magebeane strike for the elite, and either a WoH monk or a hybrid healer fire ele/rit with life and protective was kaolai, some fire skills, maybe with savannah heat as the elite, plus fire attunement and death pact signet.
EDIT: just noticed you're a BHA ranger, so forget the interrupter ranger--I'd go with the hybrid healer fire ele/rit.

For my build I use :duo sins, dualgons, a prot monk, 2 necroes, 1 rit...Great team synergy=the win , FYI I've gone through Cantha, hardest parts of Elona(yay joko's in 1 hr 30), I haven't started Tyria but I've done setups with my rit for Tyria...
Aslo when I can't bring one of the necroes(the MM), i bring another paragon...

I usually play a prot- monk and my friend an interrupt ranger.
The additional heroes we use is a modified heal-party para from PvXWiki and 2 sf eles.
Sometimes the sf eles vary depending on the area...
