sort skill templates by primary profession
hurric
A bunch of times I need to give builds to people only to have to go thru a huge list just to find what I'm looking for. It already highlights the templates when loading on the char I'm on but when I need to give builds to friends/pugs etc. it's difficult to find the template. When the template window is open have an option to sort by profession and there's only 10 professions so it's easy to find what you're looking for.
Also allow for sending templates when in explorable areas that's not your profession but it's not as important.

Sort them yourself in folders?
You can already do that.

And if slashes, like in W/E, don't work, use a dash: W-E

The first time I tried to sort them, I used numbers to put them in folders:
1 W
2 R
3 Mo
...but it didn't work. They won't get sorted that way.
Now I use letters:
a - W
b - R
c - Mo
d - N
e - Me
etc.
Then I just use the first letter, then the scond, without scores or anything like that:
a - W/WMo Wammo Build
a - W/WD Scythe Beast
a - W/Wany Rampage Masher
c - Mo/Moany Spike Healer VI
And so on.

Create subdirectories in \Guildwars\Templates\Builds
Pve>Ele,Rit,...
RA>...
etc..
Yeah, thats still not really pratical. We would love to design a ranger build while we play monk, for ex. Too bad, we cant, and will never can.

This idea is needless if you have a clue what alphabetizing is

Don't they already? When I open the template thing with my ranger, I get my ranger builds, and with my warrior, the warrior builds.

Like the others have said, just make folders and use "-" to sort by secondary as well (E/X is E-X etc.).

Go into the GW folder and make the folders yourself.. I did it that way. 8)

You can put them in folders.
I think a better alternative would be for GW to automatic add prefixes to a save skill and then save them to the appropriate folders. and if you have a repeated skills set of the same attributes and skills, GW need to automatically ask if you wanted another of the same, even if you are saving them using a different name.

You can do it already, but it requires you to alter the folder yourself. I mean, come on. A.net could make it more convienent. It isn't like this would be neccessary, but it would be nice. It isn't like anybody would complain if they did this.
