ive been farming corsairs in hm on and off for about a week now and i haven't gotten any collosal scim drops, can anyone confirm that they do still drop them? preferably in the last month or 2? also, do only the cuthroats drop them? any help would be appreciated.

I had 2 drop the weekend of the 12th. Q11 and Q12, but they are still dropping.

Got a Req 9 one while vanquishing...so, yes, they do still drop.

I got a few of these to mod up as caster weapons for some of my characters. The last one I got dropped around Xmas, which was when I stopped farming for them. Not 100% sure, but I think I've only got them from the cutthroats. This is probably nothing, but I found I had better luck in Zehlon Reach International than my normal district and always went there to do the farm.

Around October last year was the last colossal drop I've gotten from there, before that I had about 9 or 10 drop for me. Cutthroats aren't the only ones to drop them btw...I posted a screenie on another thread awhile back which showed a raider who had dropped one for me. Side note however, I'm not sure if that farm is a worthwhile investment considering u can pick up a r9 for about 15-20k now, kind of like the elemental swords. Also, I've been doing that run every once in a while with my Mo/D, and it seems as though golds only drop about one in every 3 runs when they used to drop 3 per run. I dunno, but it's not as profitable as it used to be...

They've been that low for months. After HM was released people swarmed Zehlon to farm Collossals and Tattooed Scimitars and prices tanked.

Personally, I got a Q9 Colossal in GW:EN (dungeon chest drop), and it's not that uncommon. GW:EN only made a falling economy worse for certain skins like Colossals.

yes they are still dropping. Was in a party of 8 doing the mission today and got I got one. Only req 11 though

quick update, can anyone confirm getting one from the first group in moddock crevice? i wouldnt b surprised if they didnt drop considering how easy they would be to farm with an echo trapper.

They don't seem to be dropping at all at Barbarous Shore (in HM) although wiki points out they do.
Although I got a req11 from a Z-chest by luck.

I picked up two non-max ele swords in NM within the first 100 or so runs on the nestlings. One was q5, the other q11. Good enough to convert into caster weapons.
Haven't had any drop in HM yet...i don't run it often enough or long enough to know.

iv seen many Elemental Swords Drop near Slayers Exile. Iv seen Elemental Sword from ToF and Slayers Exile End Chests.

I've done Zehlon about 30 times with 330 hp Rit- No Collossal scimitar drops.
