I was bored so I decided to do the bonus on Kondonur Crossroads. Having my cam panned out and close to the ground I noticed something odd.

It might be my imagination, but I really think the shadow that Mehnlo has on his arm looks very much like the lead character in the movie "The Crow"

What do you think, am i seeing stuff or is there something to this shadow?

Which movie? I have at least three. But I'm assuming you mean Brandon Lee. In my eyes, he's the only Crow.

Oh wow, it took me a while but I do see it in the shading of his left arm now. Cool. It does kinda look like the Crow.

Indeed indeed, but I was just basically thinking of "The Crow", all the cartoons, movies ect.

Uhhh, yeah..

Reminds me of in CS 1.6 playing in dust2 camping a watching cat in that little niche where when you pop out you can shoot the T's but sometimes they shoot your legs but yea anyways when camping there when you crouch and look at the little wall in front of you I see a face that looks like a monkey with a crown or maybe its just diddy kong.

Here's the thing that gets me: let's just assume for a minute that the way the light creates a shadow on Mhenlo's arm muscle gives the illusion of a face, "The Crow" or whatever. That assumption aside, how in the world would that make him a fan? So what, if my butt hair just so happens to look like Michael Jackson in a certain light, I'm a fan of a racially and sexually confused pedophiliac pop star?

It's simply shading that stresses the standard muscle structure. Or rather, the standard dream of what one's muscles should be.

i stared at the pic with red rings etc on it...couldn't find it really. thought it was some sort of coincedance. Its just the way the musles are , the shading and peoples immagination. but now i notice homer or a monkey on the first image................................i cant stop lookin...

It just a title for a thread, cause I couldn't think of anything better. But just for you ill call it "A shadow on Mehnlo's arm that might look like "the crow" or something else from your imagination". If that sounds better for you.

Yeah, it's just our imagination.

We want to see faces on things, there's actually a word for it (I forgot what it's called).

I don't think it was intentional by the designers...

Well thats the thing....that upper shadow shouldnt be there, its all wrong.

If its just a shading foible, its pretty badly done shading then.

I thought is was just a muscle...

The eyes and mouth are the shadows around the elbow... take those out, and it would look like he has no elbow!

Can we see some screenshots of other character's back arms for comparison?

This isn't the same as Easter Eggs to those that think this is intentional.
