500g is about the most I'd pay in game and I wouldn't pay real money for the feature.

Seriously ... if gender, height, face and skin would be made changeable, they might just aswell unambiguously replace the human race by polymorphs in-game.
Should the game be tweaked into the absurd and rediculous, just to serve whim?

I'm sure this won't happen. It doesn't make any sense being able to make your character bigger or to get another face. What's next? Boob job? Sex change?

But I'd pay ingame money to change my character's hair if there was a preview function like there is with dyes.

id pay about 50k for haircut/colour/skin/face. I still think the name should'nt be changed.

I'd pay a 10k + some kind of materials depending on the hair style or profession
similar to the bandana, glassess and other common headgear they introduced
for now i hide my character's head with a bandana but it really doesn't look as good as a new hair would....and it doesn't dye very good so it's just a compromise :|

Yeah I'd pay 10-15k for a hair style and colour change, really hate my eles style.
Face changes etc are a silly idea.

I'd pay £1.50 with real cash if needed as I really want to change it. I think it should only be from the same campaign and character class as your character as to keep with the theme.

Name changes would be cool but only with like a fee of 5.00 real cash and limited change say once a month or so as to deter people and scammers but a nice option to have. Really only want a hair and colour changer.

I take enough time creating my characters, to make sure I'm satisfied with the way they look. If I get tired of the way they look, I change their armor. Or, make a new one.

Not really needed.

I wouldn't pay real money for any of those,
But I would pay up to around 300k to change the hair of my first toon.

I'm quite happy with how my characters look, but not 100% happy with one of them though. I was abit too excited in getting into the game. One of my oldest characters and not willing to delete and re-roll.

If they implemented something then I'll probably be willing to pay no more than 5K for a new hairdo. Definitely will not pay real money for it.

i want my canthan ele to have the hair sticks from prophecies so bad ;_; my only character creation regret.
i'd probably pay 100k to change since i like everything else i've made, i wouldn't be changing all my characters' hair.

Real money - $0.00
Gold - 5k, maybe 10k but that's stretching it and this would have to be for styles that you can't choose when you first make a toon

I've lost count of how many toons I've rerolled because I decided I didn't like how they looked...

Fortunately, I figure out that I don't like their looks before they get to lv 3-4.

A haircut? nothing. Getting a hair cut is a dumb idea and a waste of code. Who the heck wants ANet to invest in making our hair shorter.

hair dresser, change color/style... maybe. For that I'd pay.... nothing as well. But the idea is good.

I'd rather pay for the ablility for my hair to grow with time or my skin color change with the climate I spent more time in.

Like if I spent time in Dungeons or in a cold place, my skin would get paler. If I spent more time in Elona in the desert, my skin would get darker.

I wouldn't pay RL money for it, but a reasonable price (no more than 20k or so) in game for this feature (not a one time haircut or skin color change) would be great.

First, mind your language, i didn't create this thread just so you can ruin it.

Secondly, Not everyone wants to wear a helmet, this thing has been requested by the majority of the gwg community...

That should be requested by forum community and even then I don't know about that majority statement. I have never heard an in game discussion about hairstyles.

I'd pay 10k for anything hair related, but for a complete redesign of my character, I think I'd pay 50 plat.

Real life? I don't think this should be an online store option.

My chars don't need haircuts, they have great hair as it is.

Plastic Surgery, however... Some of my characters could use some prettier faces :3

As much as I love my unique ascetic monk, after 2 years I'd like to look at a different hairstyle. 10k for a hairstyle change, or $5 for a complete reroll from any campaign.

Unless we can give characters hair from campaigns other than their native campaigns, I wouldn't use it.

If we would, I'd go as high as 10k.

What I'd really like actually is a height adjustment feature. My mez is too tall.

500g for hair color, 1k for style change, 3k for skin tone change, 5k for face change.

All you people saying 100k 100k 100k...really need a reality check. Funny saying that about a game, but the number of players with 100k to burn on a redesign, especially when there's a chance you won't like it later on anyway(you did, in fact, choose this combo when you made the char, didn't you?) are much much much smaller than the ratio of these types of players on this site.

Keep it reasonable, don't give Anet another thing to charge real money for in the store, don't make them put some ungodly prices on stuff, this makes the game time>skill because if you don't like your character's looks, you have to either remake = time or farm = time.

I wouldn't pay for hair/face/skintone/etc. changes at all. I don't see any reason to need them. It took me several minutes to create my Characters' looks and I'm still quite happy with the way they've turned out, even after 30+ months on the oldest ones.

The only time I was ever disappointed with one of my permanent characters appearance was when A-Net did the face changes to accommodate facial movements in cut-scenes. My poor monk ended up looking like a cross between Alfred E. Newman & Princess Leah. So I made a new monk, got LS on her and there was much rejoicing!
