Bugged Superior Vigor?

I was just wondering if anyone has encountered this before...

Superior vigors are SUPPOSED to look like #1.
A vigor I recently acquired looks like #2.
~In addition to the 2nd *bugged* vigor, when trying to sell to the rune trader... I get a message saying the trader refuses to buy that item. (can't screen it because when the message shows it disables all controls until you click the "Ok"



Any ideas on it?

It's a superior vigor before the rune trader conversion about a year ago. They still work, but the trader won't buy them. Kind of a collector's item.

Yea looks like a superior vigor from 2005 (blue instead of purple for majors or gold for superiors). Other runes from that time have the same glitch. I just throw them on my armor and don't give it another thought.

i have one of those sup vigs with a minor icon as well from my IG mentor way back when i first started. those things are like antiques now, just nobody buys em :P

Oh I understand now, I had a minor vigor and I just couldn't sell it, no idea where I put it now though...:P

Hehe- I still have those runes on my armor... Maybe that's why my best armor set only gives me 450 hp.. hehe.

wow, that thing's pretty well ancient now. predates the rune standardization updates.

somone should start an ingame mueseum for this stuff :-P

If it's a minor vigor from that quest in Nightfall, you won't be able to sell it to the trader. I think ones you salvage off monster drops are able to be sold in the trader still.
