I will also cosign Sawamura's current guild as being a top notch guild. Funny that some of you were in the sins and some of us were in the CAT Alliance... hahahaha. Back when we were in Altruim ruins with [TRL] a few months ago, you guys were intense and hard grinders. I tip my hat off to you all. We maintained a ton of faction together. Good times. Too bad we both strayed from moving on HzH. I wouldn't mind giving it a go again if you were up for it... hahaha. I think I could push [FooL] to maintain five to seven mill a day. Some of us still need Savior... and I could always use the money.

XoO .... Zoo lol... those PvE animals.... no they don't pvp.... not what would consider pvp anyway...

try looking at AB alliances to get your foot in the door of top PvE guilds.... then work your way out... guild hopping is okay i guess till you find your place.... but it gets to become a bad habit

Yeah, Sins was my place. Only it changed when we all kind of split up to do what we wanted to do. And now I still haven't found another guild that has the same atmosphere as Sins did. I tried a few guilds, but either they wouldn't let me in, or they didn't feel right to me

Sins had all sorts of problems, most of them fairly common with 800+ member guilds like SNOW. You get crappy players, immature players, and players generally bad at the game.

I was an officer in Dead around the time of the 96 million faction spike, and all I remember thinking was how much drama was in that alliance, and how bad so many of the players were.

I mean, granted, the alliance farmed ridiculous amounts of faction. But it takes little skill and simply time.

I was a member in the sins alliance for around 6 months, the thing i learned over that is that Sins had the most immature people and were incredibley stuck up no matter what you helped them with, they turn their back on you.

The sins alliance was our main opposition and I had a lot of respect for them. Their one focus was factions farming, and they did that better than anyone in the game...immaturity aside. Until CAT took them down, the sins were the best faction guild ever in guildwars. Politics aside, because it is starting to sound like you are talking about lazy.... (*wink-wink*), the sins were dominant and heavy faction farmers (and gold came with that).
I don't base the best farming guild off of maturity. I base the best farming guild off of how much they farmed... no matter the items.

IMHO, I don't believe that any guild will ever get close to 92 million ever again... sins take that spot as the best faction farming guild/Alliance

Lastly, I don't mean to point out the obvious, however, if the sins sucked so much, why did you stay with them for six months? That sounds like a voluntary prison sentence to me?

Here's the thing. The sins were bad at FFF, and bad at everything. They simply had PEOPLE AND TIME.

I got to stand by Brotherhood of the Shadows [bots] as the best farming guild. Honestly, how do you figure out what guild would be the best at farming? It all depends on what your farming where.

Are any guilds really famous for farming? I mean, the very act of farming is pretty solo. Not something that gets you a lot of credit. Not like you can hop into Observe and check out some good farming runs.

Group farming, I guess. I would qualify group farming as Ursan + Consumables and good farming = profit + ease + speed.

Or if the guild does innovative stuff, or something. Ugh farming is stupid.

Well i'd have to say Sins......

They had most of their saviors before that double faction update. Being part of their alliance for a year and a half, they had their share of imature people but they also had tons of helpful and polite people. They still have a website even though it has been inactive for a month or 2. www.sinsalliance.com

In terms of faction I would agree though. Not sure what to say in terms of other sorts of farming, nothing quite as obvious as the big numbers that showed up on the town comes to mind.

You're always gonna have different opinions ..

But you can't deny that people in the Sins guild really got on with eachother and had lots of fun. True, we had some immature people, but doesn't each guild/alliance have those ?
And people who claim Sins sucked at FFF are just jealous .. Sure, we had lots of people with a lot of time on their hands but we had fun in what we did and we did it fast, what else do you want.

As for the topic, someone said that farming is mainly a solo thing to do, which is true. So choosing a pure farming guild will be though, since there's loads of different opinions

I agree with that, and for anyone to say the sins didn't know how to FFF needs to get their jealousy in check. The number of guilds in an Alliance hasn't changed, and the sins held down 90+ million. Nuff said, no one is anywhere near that, and the current HzH Alliance abuses hfff bots... hahahaha... they still don't near the sins... PITIFUL!!!

About SMS, they are only known and legendary here. They are a great guild of close friends that are very active on guildwarsguru. DVDF and GoE are great farming guilds, as are TRL, monk, DoA, MEEP, and FAQ. I could keep going, however, I think we all get the idea.

Also, outside of DoA, TRL, and GoE, I don't even think any of the other guilds are full guilds. Lastly... there are a lot of leet french and german guilds that get no play on guildwarsguru because they don't speak english.

In terms of guildwarsguru, the best guilds here are SMS, DVDF, and GoE.
