H/H Clearing UW
ShadowsRequiem
I love playing with my one friend and we have been successful in heroing a lot of higher end places. Slavers was a piece of cake though I've been REALLY wanting to clear the whole UW for some reason.
I looked over some of the builds on PVX wiki but do not plan on using a crappy ursan way build.
Now the only UW I have ever really done is farming ectos on different characters. Once when I still had my ele I was in a group which made it towards the chaos plains. Other then that I don’t have much experience. Is it possible to Hero and clear UW?
I was thinking kind of modifying the one UW on pvx wiki of using ele with obsidian flesh and having SF eles to nuke the hell out of stuff XD
Would a W/E (obsidian) or a Mo/D with spell breaker be just about as good? What else do you think we should run? Now I absolutely LOATHE running a "tank build" on my warrior.... I love pvp and hate the tanking war builds. But the 55 monk with SB doesnt seem that bad to me since I already use it when I duo UW with my friend ^^ Of course on monks I'd sent them up as a Mo/A WoH hybrid and stuff like that.
Any help would be appreciated

not sure mabye try running spell breaker monk tank with 3 sf. it will be hard with heros becaus they can't do all the things humans can.
i recon thats your best bet but its up to you... really ^^

Me and my friend clear uw with heroes. We are both glass arrow rangers with interrupts, although anyone to interrupt meteor shower is fine. We use 3 sf heroes and 3 monks, 2 hb and 1 spellbreaker/heal. The reason we bring so many monks is for the 6-2 split we do on four horsemen, we don't want the side without sb to only have 1 monk.
On four horsemen I go to one side and flag the sb hero outside of agro of the enemies. The person with the spellbreaker hero takes the quest while the rest of the team stands on the other side. I use arcane echo, blessed aura, and an enchant staff to keep sb on for a very long time. I put spellbreaker up when I see the quest accepted message on screen, thats when they start coming. It is key that you do not move or they will break agro and attack your hero. By time the other side has finished I have killed all dryders and only have the horsemen left then my friend comes over and helps kill them.
on the ice planes quest (area with the smites) we have one person stand inside the spawn and have sb on them, then the other person takes the quest. The guy with sb takes all agro and they get killed by the eles. repeat for the next 2 spawns.
We don't really have much problems with the rest of the UW, we just agro one group at a time and kill them. We bring you are all weaklings for the aataxes so they don't own our team and interrupts for meteor shower, thats about anything special. The rest is just damage and healing. Our best is 1hr51min, that is with consumables, 2 celerity, we have gotten 1hr57min without. A key to saving a bunch of time is to have one person tank the traps and then just run by the obsidian burrowers on twin snake.
hope that helps, sorry for a semi-walloftext, tired.
EDIT: As for order we clear the labyrinth, chaos planes, teleport to labyrinth, ice planes, teleport to chaos planes, spawning pools, teleport to chaos planes, bone pits, teleport to chaos planes, twin snake, teleport to labyrinth, forgotten vale, teleport to labyrinth, restoring grenths monuments, escort of souls, teleport to labyrinth, unwanted guests.
EDIT2:make sure you trigger the traps on twin mountain before finishing the dryders, they will kill the reaper and you will lose. We bring I am unstoppable for easy trap triggering.

I did it once with a friend. I believe I had 2 Angelic Bond Paragons and an SS, I was warrior. He had SF eles and was a monk. You just need to be smart with your flagging.
I would have been running the DSLash/TNTF!/SY! bar.

Lately In my groups I have been taking gwen with an interruption build everywhere I go. I see interrupt heros better than humans when it comes to that job. My usual Elite is [skill]Power block[/skill]

I've done UW with 2 guild members and our heros not too long ago. One of them was an ele with a build to solo one side of the 4 hoursemen while the rest of us took the other side.
That same ele can also do the quest 'Servants of Grenth' on his own.
When you have those 2 quests covered I don't think there's anything really hard left in UW.(invinci aatxes are annoying with heros tho)

It really depends. Everyone knows hero's can interrupt any spell/skill in the game (well any spell/skill with a cast time), however, the one thing about hero's is they cant priortise the spells to interrupt so they can sometimes interrupt annoyingly useless spells and fail to interrupt the important ones ^^ But I suppose if your using PB it doesnt really matter

Thanks a lot for the tips though I'm pretty sure either of us have an ele (I deleted mine way back ) Do you think a Hero with obsidian flesh and the complete build skills could tank the other side of the four horsemen?
Or is one of those W/E obsidian tanks able to hold arrgo very well?

You would definitely have to micro the hero.

Personally, I'd also like to go through UW with H/H but I have no idea how the quests works, wiki doesn't help, if only someone got some maps of it ....

Can anyone happen to post a Map of what the 4 Horsemen quest is like? XD That would help a lot!
Squishy ftw

The green dot is the reaper(the one that's not allowed to die).
The 2 big red dots are the spawns, each dot is: 2x Mesmer boss and 6x Terrorweb Dryders. The spawning spots aren't 100% exact, as I've never paid much attention to the map. But it should give you an idea.
They follow the smaller red dots path towards the reaper.
Whenever I do an UW run we put 1 terra tank on one side while the rest takes out the other side.

Me (war) and my friend (monk) did it with heroes as well. No ursan, no obsidian idiotism
3 Eles, 2 mes (may be there was 1 para+ 1 mes, don't remember exactly), 2 monks
We did use consumables though
I was running tripple chop axe build, my friend - ZB prot with GDW (hell this skill is overpowered!)
The only hard part is The Four Horsemen of course. Rest of UW is a joke

In addition - if you ever can't find a partner and want/need to do it alone, just have someone set up 3 heros for you with proper builds, enter with you -then they can map out after putting their heros on "defend" (I'd recommend making them your monks/an SF). They'll start following you around and you can do UW with a team total of 7 with no problems. They'll follow your general flagging, etc. I've had more success and speed doing this most the time, lol - although I'm not advocating playing the game alone all the time...
Only screwed up thing is if you DC and come back - the 3 heros not yours will be gone
