How is it on US servers?

I am on european server too and i always play in english district. I meet dutch people there a lot (im dutch too) and i always ask people to speak english once we are in mission (pve or pvp). before mission or after, everybody should just relax and if someone wants to speak his/her own language, its no problem to me. I speak french, english, german, polish and dutch quite good and a little spanish and swedish (im a language freak hahaha). I always answer evrybody in english though, but like i said, outside missions i have no problems with people speaking their own language even if i understand nothing.

Now, i do not expect everybody to share this opinion but before getting angry it is good to tell you have a problem and ask them to speak english. If they don't, leave the group saying that you can not function this way, or kick the one who refuses to speak english. They can find others to speak their language, i would assume.
Personally, it would never make me angry since nobody is really dependent on only one group. In games, like in real life, their will always be groups of people you do not feel comfortable with. Simply respect them, but don't join them would be my advice.

i like it when games are broken up into servers like GW and blizzard games, its frustrating when i play games like warhammer 40000 DoW, endless ages, and unreal online where me speaking english is a small minority

reason so few brits speak anything but english is the crappy school system we have been saddled with for the last 20 years *rolls eyes*

most euro schools make you learn more than one language from an early age, whlie english schools dont realy bother, and GCSE french/german is about all you learn unless you *want* to....

and since most kids these days cant be arsed to learn, and would rather be looking cool and fitting in...you get the dismal picture....

i would have liked to leran french and german realy....the french would have helped here in guildwars ^^ *hanging out and getting help from witchblade and freinds ^^ im realy glad they speak reasonalbe english^^*
and the german, i could have just listened to my german cartoons like sailormoon hehehe.

usually (and this is prety much exclusively from snowball fight, as i dont do arenas and pvp) i get mainly english and french in my team....if they speak and i cant understand, well as long as we work ok, i dont mind....truth be told, since its all in fun, why worry ^^

mind you, if i could learn some other languages in my local colage thru the day other than urdu, bengali and arabic, i would go for it, but thats all they offer in day courses...and i have to go to bradford...at night... >.< if i wanted to learn something like japanease grr (no way am i going bradford at night...a lone femail...like, red rag to a bull :X )

i originally started to play on europe but i've found that most ppl are not that nice and language is an issue.
i think american server is better coz there are more ppl on it and they seem more friendly. of course there's still many assholes and noobs around but since there are many ppl, u have many to chose from.
