Lots of Favor 28000 min

Has anyone else noticed that the current favor is right at 28,000 minutes? This is right at 19 days.

Did everyone finish GW:EN at the same time or is this a loop hole that ANET needs to fix?

Tis the result of the double SS/LB event the weekend just gone. Lots of people got maxed rank in those titles (myself included).

I thought about that too. The double SS/LB has been done before though right?

I guess lots of people were really close to getting them. I guess the last time double was offered was prior to the changes in the favor system (region favor).

Edit: Yeah, it's been done before, right after HM came out I believe.

At one point I was standing in Great Temple of Balthazar dist 1 international (yeah - trading ) and the titles rolled in faster than the gold spammers pathetic attempts at mastering the english language!
ArenaNet actually "stole" about 35-38K min. of favor before we racked up what we currently have - think there was some (lame) excuse about the code not being able to handle the numbers or some such (not sure) - never got back what went missing though!

Yeah it surpassed the limit of the storage amount of the integer assigned to carry it. So it Reset back to zero.

Anet still din't make any official statement on it!! I think they are glad it reset. It saved them the hassle of balancing the economy for having 60K+ minutes of favor

What, you mean favour which is actually useless because of UW (1k)/FoW (360 gold) scrolls which give 24/7 access?

Nice to know some people remember this and don't all think the amount of favor is somehow related to the amount of farming done in the UW/FoW.

I think there is a difference between 60K mins of favor & uw / fow scrolls.
Anyways an official statement would still be nice though. It's not like we used exploites to get those titles and mins.

Is this remark still about the economy getting unbalanced by 60k mins of favour remaining? Because then I would have to say it's absolutely rubbish. Heck, getting into FoW (not the preffered farming place, I know, but good for sinking money into obsi armor) is actually cheaper by using a scroll so why use the statue for it anyway?

Lol, it never really was... even when it was determine by PvP it was mostly done for fame, and less favor. Hasn't changed. You never really see "hey, let's go max titles for the sake of favor!".

Since this thread is getting ridiculous anyway..
