Okay, I heard from a friend that ANet has started to ban accounts that log in under more than one IP address. I have one account on four different computers, that connect to various networks throughout my neighborhoor/workplace. My friend says that ANet believes the account to be used by more than one person and will ask for your CD key from any of the main campaigns in order to authorize that you're the real owner. I don't have any keys except for EoTN. He also says that this is a security measure from that 117 bit a while ago.
I'd like to know if anyone has heard anything like this, or knows about any bans that are happening because of multiple usages. I don't want to think this is like that RIAA crap about having to buy more than one copy to play on different computers. And I don't want my account banned because I use a laptop that travels. Community, please tell me if this is just a rude joke or the truth.

The 117 bit was about people using an exploit, nothing to do with using multiple ips. And the only people who would ever ask for your cd keys would be from support and only after you contact them about an issue(like losing your login info, getting hacked, etc).
Anyway, I've been playing on multiple ips for nearly 3 years now, never been banned.
