Why is red dye more expensive than silver dye? What exactly makes it better and worth more than the other?

I think they maybe changed the droprate a while back. Used to be that silver was one of the most expensive.

1: a lot of people like the color red and it usually dyes well on most armors

2: Red also tends to mix well with the other colors

3: silver does not look shiny on the cloth armors and pretty much looks like a lighter shade of gray

4: silver does not always mix well and often gives a kind of bluish or muted tint to the dye it is mixed with

(silver was more expensive before there was white, brown and gray [armors came colored and the only way to get gray was by using silver] and before they changed the ways colors mix - at the time it took 2 silvers and a yellow to approximate white on many armors)

Plain and simple... silver drops more often than red.

Silver dropped vastly in price when armor came out of the shop as gray, and when you could buy gray at the merchant for 50g Red is used a lot to mix pink colours also. Pink seems just as popular as always.

For several reasons:
1. Both have similar drop chance
2. Red is more popular
3. Red works on most armour
4. Silver doesn't look as good as before the "update"
5. Grey makes a close, but cheaper Silver
