GWEN skills

Hi.

In short: I have

Factions
Nightfall
Eye of the North

Crippling Shot is an Elite Ranger skill from Prophecies, yet according to Wiki can also be capped in EotN. By the same token I thought it'd be unlockable for PvP characters as well, but it doesn't show up at all at the Priest of Balthazar.

Does anyone have an explanation, or is this a bug?

you need to buy prophecies, its a prophecies skill, EotN is just an additional capping place for those who have the original campaign for it

GWEN consists of all sorts of skills... it's not campaign related of core elites so it's not a bug... I've seen SF in GWEN used by a boss - nothing new

Hmm, that does sound a bit odd, I would have thought that because you own GW:EN and its capable there you would be able to unlock it. I guess the only solution is to go and cap it and unlock it that way.

You can't do that either. Crippling Shot is exclusive to Prophecies. You have to buy Prophecies to be able to use it, even if you can cap it in Eye of the North. If you try to cap it, you'll see a lock over the skill icon and you won't be able to use it.

You can only cap it if you have Prophecies iirc

Any Elite skill in GWEN can only be capped or unlocked if you own the chapter they originate in.
