PC Crashes when GW running

This happened to me 3 times so far and counting. I was in HA on my 3-4 run and it crashed. I was in RA and it crashed. I was doing a mission and it crashed. I was in Amnoon Oasis and it crashed after 30 minutes of talking. One time my PC crashed and it wouldnt boot back up. I had to take out the ram and reinstall it. What could it be? I uninstaleld GW once already. I think I'm going to reformat my pc. What should I do with the files and the dat file?

I had same problem i needed to get new hardware.

1) check your drivers, update to latest ones
2) any clashing drivers/programs etc?
3) Disable HIPS scanner/program control etc
4) Reinstall GW if it crashes to windows.
5) If it crashes to BSOD take a copy of the Dump file look it could help.
6) Check if your ram is loose, overheating etc
7) Monitor your temps, GPU and CPU and overall temp. Coretemp/Speedfan
8) Are you overclocking?
9) Try running in lowest settings see if it crashes.

All I can think of..i do get occasional crashes rarely too, mine simply closes to windows, I overclock so I cant blame anything

im geting the same prob when im in HA it just restarts my pc i thought it was vent first but now that u mentioned it on missions and so on it got me thinkin it might just b gw

I was just about to start a thread then I saw this one. I'm getting similar problems with my laptop. Been playing GW on it for over a year and never had any problems until a week ago. Now after about 20min or so of GW running, my entire laptop crashes, and this only happens when I'm playing GW. I have a fan system that keeps the laptop from overheating, so I don't think thats the problem. I've tried lowering the graphics, shutting off other applications, ect.. and it still crashes, any ideas?

I don't think I'm overclock? I have the dump file do you need to see it? Also, would reformatting help at all?

I also installed nvidia driver.
