Aside from that, consider that when balancing skills, Izzy has to balance for each aspect of the game.

I think spirits is fine the way it is, so not signed for limiting 2 spirit per character.

However, i think spirits should lost its bond to the caster once the caster is dead, like minions loosing their bonds to the minion master when they die. so if you spam spirit and unfortunately can't stay alive. damn be your team... it will become rogue spirit or all spirit will die with the summoner.

Spirit spam isn't that powerfull, however it has got a high ratio of skill vs reward. It's just plain dumb, any player can play it and be a fairly good addition to the team. And since we're into it, also nerf those thumpers and all sins ^^. also no skill required to play those

Kaida, for the smaller 4v4s, instead of limiting the number of spirits, reduce how long they will stay around in those areas. However I see what you are getting at because Anet did nerf how many minions a necro can carry...

Is that what you are trying to get at, necro spirit spammers? If so I'd limit it to one plus another for every 3-4 spawning power you have.

Spirits are vulnerable to burning. Try using [wiki]Rodgort's Invocation[/wiki] or something, should kill them quickly.

They annoy me but /notsigned, no real reason to cripple the rit that much, the nerf was enough.

If you limit it to 2 spirits per person, then it should be 2 minions per person as well. And that would kill the hero status.

Not really, minions are only really useful as damage dealers and meatshields in large numbers, so with only 2 minions MM's would probably be never seen again; whereas a single spirit can be useful by itself (life, for example). /notsigned though, I don't see too much of a problem.

You're missing the point that Spirits > Minions. No minion, when it dies, gives a full party heal, no minion gives constant health regen during it's life, no minion gives a full party prot spirit.

You're logic would make sense if spirits weren't so much better than minions.

We can only have one pet though. lol

But yes, I guess spirits are more powerful than minions. But when you get a full minion army, they're as powerful as spirits I think. But still, I'll have to go with /not signed.
