I think spirits is fine the way it is, so not signed for limiting 2 spirit per character.
However, i think spirits should lost its bond to the caster once the caster is dead, like minions loosing their bonds to the minion master when they die. so if you spam spirit and unfortunately can't stay alive. damn be your team... it will become rogue spirit or all spirit will die with the summoner.

Kaida, for the smaller 4v4s, instead of limiting the number of spirits, reduce how long they will stay around in those areas. However I see what you are getting at because Anet did nerf how many minions a necro can carry...
Is that what you are trying to get at, necro spirit spammers? If so I'd limit it to one plus another for every 3-4 spawning power you have.

It's hard enough to run spirits in PLAYER VS ENVIRONMENT, you f***er. Stop trying to nerf our stuff. I can't begin to describe how much I hate people like you.
