ArenaNet Connection Problems (Installation)

Hello, I would like to ask if anyone one would help me with installation problems. I have stopped playing Guild Wars for about a year and with out anything to do I decided to come back to it(I only have the Guild Wars no expansions). When I tried re-installing Guild Wars everything was going well except for when it was asked to connect to ArenaNet. It just stays at 0% and never moves I have no idea what to do at this point and I'm in need of a good game right now. Please reply if you know how to solve this.
