Graven Monoliths and Tome Drops

I get that tomes are pretty much profession bound, but my question is which profession? The one they are initially or the one they are just as they die? If it's the latter, what happens when they die in Reform Carving form? I guess it'd go to the form they were before, but I'm not sure.

I searched on both Wikis, but didn't find anything and pretty much all search results here lead me to the Sell sub-forum.

I've seen Graven Monoliths drop Paragon tomes. If that helps.

I've had both a derv and mesmer tome from them so i guess they drop depending on their profession at death.

Yeah, I've had a Mes and Derv tome drop almost at the same time. The next run was a Derv and Paragon tome. All from the Margonite Temple. Was never able to tell which had dropped it let alone what form they were in.

Yeah they drop based on death form.

I only get Mesmer Tomes from the Monoliths. Then again, I hardly ever see them in a form besides Mesmer.
