Where to use my lockpicks?

I have been saving my lockpicks until the point where I know where to use them. I would like to go to a place that drops inscribable, decently expensive, or good looking, gear. If not expensive, at least inscribable. If you have any ideas where to go, or where you go, please post them ^^ Thanks in advance

Anywhere in Nightfall, nothing real expensive drops form there.

GWEN offers inscribable items as well, but again nothing too expensive drops there either...maybe a darkwing defender, runic blade and such though.

Not exactly answering... but I would recommend maybe using the trade channel? It's probably better to sell the picks and buy stuff than hoping for a good drop out of a chest (unless your going for lucky/unlucky).

Well, anyone could buy their stuff. I would like to sell, and go for titles as well.

Try Mirror of Lyss or Poisoned Outcrops.

Sell them. It's easier to buy what you want, then it is trying to get lucky with chests.

how about wtb the chest opening title? cant do that so where should you use the lock picks

Unless you can build a time machine and go back to when you could get a greater mean return on a lockpick than its market value in gold (1250)...

or unless you want higher levels of treasure hunter...

or unless you're stockpiling wealth against a prediction of massive deflation in the value of in-game gold...

...you should sell lockpicks on the open market.

You don't know how close you are there. Hedging my bets by keeping some wealth in lockpicks, since if the market does crash, oh well, use them for title :P

Isn't Slavers Exile a good place to use lockpicks? Also DoA and Urgoz, though Urgoz isn't inscribable

imho i would use lockpicks anywhere... since they give you title bonuses anyways

If you are under rank 3 of Treausre hunter and lucky: Save them for later use or sell them.

If you are over rank 3 with at least one of those titles and rank 2 with the other:
Use them in vabbian chests, hopping to get lucky to find a pair of jeweled daggers to salvage.
Also in Eye of the North Normal mode chests.

If you are over rank 5 with any of those two titles: Use them anywhere, preferable in eye of the North hard mode.
