How would you unlock a PVE skill for a character who was not far enough in the game to get it. For instance I have a character farther along in the game AND a pvp character. How could I unlock skills for my lower level character? thanks!

Very simple, you just do some rounds of AB with your higher level character or a PVP character. Then you gain Balthazar's Faction. At the priest of Balthazar you unlock the wanted skill for the lower character. After it's unlocked you can buy the skill in the right campaign from every skill trainer.

Why AB? RA is way faster imo.....

If he has a char further along in the game, that char can simply purchase the skill at the skill trader. That will unlock the skill and allow his low level char to purchase it at a skill trader.

Note* Skills from one campain can not be purchased from skill traders in a different campain, there are some core skills that are found in all chapters but many must be purchased only in one chapter.

Lastly if he has unlocked a skill from one chapter that he wishes a low level char in another chapter to learn a Skill tome will allow him to aquire this skill, even if its from another chapter.

The exception to this is PVE only skills (norn, asuran, dwarf, ebon vangaurd, kurzick, luxon, sunspear and lightbringer). To get these skills you need to do the associated quest on the character who needs the skill.

I found AB very fast and a lot of fun, not the case of RA. I guess Ab is still a bit PvE, while RA is purely PvP, and that makes it easier for PvE players. Plus you can give factions for your guild.

I'm sorry. Whats AB and RA? I'm kinda...not good at technical terms. Also the priest of balthazar says that the skills will be unlocked for PVP characters ONLY.

Random Arena - RA - Make a Pvp Character and then you join in to an area where you are random placed in a team with 3 other people to fight a different team of 4. If you kill someone on the other team you get balth faction, if you win the match you get 50 balth faction + 50 more if it's a consecutive win..

Alliance Battle - AB - Must have Factions - I think you can make a PvP character and do some AB. Normally you'd get your PvE character in a guild of your alliance (Kurzick or Luxon) and talk to the Ambassador in your guild hall with the [Alliance Battles] tag. You are put in a team with 7-11 other players to play against 8-12 people. It's more of a control the area type game, as opposed to annihilation with RA.

*Note*You can always search the Wiki for Simple question like these..

This simply means you still have to buy the skill to make them available for use on a PvE character. However, by unlocking it, you make said skill available for purchase at all the skilltraders in the campaign the skill comes from, therefor making it easier to get, specially on a low level character.
