Why are they worth so much? (2x as much as a lockpick)

All I got from those chest are garbage. Are people willing to pay that much just for gamble? o_O

The fact you can get an Eternal Blade out of it, although rare, makes it expensive.

think theres other rare stuff other than the eternal blade... How much do everlasting beetlejuice tonics go for these days?

Nothing Diffrent from the Coffer of Whispers really, just alot less expensive for one crack at it.

More like 1250 armbraces. Not really, but it is some ridiculous amount. And for the other person, it doesn't drop everlasting tonic (I wish it did =() just a normal tonic that lasts for 50 minutes I think.

They are worth so much because you can sit there and open the chest until the cows come home.

It drops everlasting and regular tonics, just that the everlasting ones are extremely rare. See: Post your drops thread post, Gaile confirms

Well, with a lockpick you may get a crappy gold, a crappy purple and sometimes something you can use...

With a Zaishen key you may get any skin.

The keys are expensive because some of the Drops are very good (Elite Tomes, Fancy skin weapons) The Keys are also expensive because they take 5000 balthazar faction (or tounament points) to get one.

Yea 5k balthazar faction is very hard to get. It should be worth more IMO, but prices are around 3k sometimes 4k. Its a huge gamble that people are taking, but really the best way to make money on those is to be the one selling.

Keep selling them for 3-4k until people wise up.

An alliance member just got something worth 100k + e last weekend from the chest, forget what it was, but the chest may drop something of value.
