I know that koosuns fire staff is not real big now cause everyone and there mothers have been farming it, but I just now figured out how.... go me!!!!
well my question is does it matter how long it takes to kill him with weather or not you get the staff?
in the pvxwiki thing that I read it was like, you wanna kill it fast in order to get it.
the first time I did it I got the staff and that was probly the fastest time I killed him, I've probly done the run another 30 times and havnt gotten it once.
also how much is it worth cause I know it used to be worth a hell of a lot of money.

The speed with which you kill the boss doesn't change the drop rates (I don't think? Just the idea sounds silly to me), however, faster killing will allow you to rezone and re-kill him more often per set amount of time.
If it takes you 10 minutes to complete a full run, you can do 6 runs in 1 hour. If you speed up the killing process and can complete a full run in 6 minutes, you will be able to kill him 10 times in 1 hour.

I used to clock in about 6 mins per kill against Koosun (including running in the outpost and merchanting stuff). I did this back during anti-farm so at first I got maybe 2 staffs every hour (12 runs per hour), but then it dropped down to like 1 or 2 staffs every 2-3 hours. I think I've gotten a total of 20+ staffs out of around 200 runs. That's how I afforded my first FoW set, farming koosun

How do you prevent the monk spawning from healing him?
I just used a Mo/E nuke build (Only have 1 pve char, monk
) withmeteor shower maelstrom etc etc, to take down the sb monk that spawns
Then I nuke koosun
I don't think u can kill him with that :s

no you dont need to worry about the monk he doesnt really heal enough to wory about.
anyone have any imput though on th eamount of time it took to kill him with weather or not you got the staff?
