BMP and survivor?

Does dieing in BMP count towards the end of this title? Have searched wiki and whatnot, didn't find any info.

logically, it shouldn't, because you are not you, but someone else in the mission, but I rather not risk it with my survivor character, way too risky.

It does. I've done some missions with my survivor charas but was being extra super hyper careful and made sure to spam the characters special skills and be ready to log out via F12+enter. Had done the missions several time for non-surv charas first tho.

Edit: I think I did Turai's and Gwen's but I would prolly not risk doing Togo's because I suck at that one.

Nope, it doesn't since technically it's not your character.

This has been asked a couple of times before and i believe the answer is that it does not count as a death. However I'm only about 90% sure of this as I have a pretty bad memory .

Safest bet would be you just plain don't use your survivor lol. If you absolutely feel like it then just play as a different character, view your deaths go into the bmp, get killed and see if your death count increased.

I can confirm that it does not count towards survivor My survivor sin has done the mission and I did get killed (during Togo... :S) once, I have however not lost the title nor did I recieve a death when you type /deaths. Hope this clears the question

Really? I thought I remember testing it but I guess not then. Still I never trust those things. Charr daggers ftw.

Another question this brings up in my mind... Is the BMP a good way to farm points for the survivor title since there is no way you can die, or do you not gain experience points while you're in there?

the answer is no it dont count towards /death but you dont get any xp for killing anything

not sure if xp is part of a reward for beat ign the mission though

well there is a simple way to test it:

take a non survivor, do an "/deaths" then die in BMP, do "/deaths" again , if there is 1 added then you know.

(i do know the anwser already but you could have tried this also )

No u don't, i got s3 on a dervish after dying once in one of those missions.

I did the Togo one with my survivor char, and I died, and it did not count as a death ^^

but i already maxed it so it wouldnt have been a problem.

And experience counts?

Thanks for the info all, i did search wiki but i guess i skimmed it thru too quickly.

Oh and i would have tried it, but i only have 1 character, strange as it sounds and that one happens to be the survivor.
