I'm just wondering, if there's any way to purchase from the in-game store without having to create a playNC account.
Because, since buying the game ages ago not playing and only picking it up a few months ago, I have no idea where my serial numbers are to link them to the playNC account - the only number I have is my EOTN number that I bought recently, though I assume you need to link each campaign to the PlayNC account, in which case I think I am pretty much screwed when it comes to using the In-game store.

I believe that accounts link automatically as soon as you use the online store... Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I don't think you need to link anything to your PlayNC account, but if you link your GW to it, you just link GW to it - no numbers to enter - you just need the account name and password.

I believe that it will automatically link whatever you purchase to whichever account your logged in as.

I have a PlayNC account - when trying to purchase GWEN online I had some issue getting GWEN and I though creating one would solve it (turned out to be that NCSoft was Korean and the CC company was afraid of fraud, later worked out). I've purchased GWEN, the GOTY upgrade, and several slots and still haven't linked the account as there are other issues I do not like.
I guess it may now be different, but I still don't see any requirement to do so in the online store. Unless something has changed there is no requirement to do so. At the very least give it a try with the online store - if it requires an NCSoft account it will give an error, if not then the thing will go through and all are happy.
