If I buy Nightfall/Factions..

I currently only have Prophecies, and I have a couple of characters.

So if I buy Nightfall/Factions, will I be able to use the characters I currently have on the Nightfall/Factions campaign? How about characters I create on Nightfall, will I be able to use them on Prophecies?

Also, which do you guys recommend, Factions or Nightfall?

1) Yes, you can carry characters from one location to another. All you need to do is complete a quest that are not very difficult at all.

2) Yes, again with the carry ability. Same deal as well with needing to do a quest.

3) This is my personal opinion, but Factions comes 2nd for me because of when the games came out and how the storyline plays out.
Prophecies -> Factions -> Nightfall

Yes to both questions.

I would recommend Nightfall because of the fact that you get heroes (which are customizable henchmen whose skills and equipment you can set yourself) and the fact that there is more pve content (but there's some mandatory title grind) as well as more skills that are useful in PvP.

Make sure you add the new campaigns cd key to your current account. I've come across a couple of people who made new accounts and got upset when they couldn't cross the characters over. Personally I prefer factions to nightfall gameplay wise but nightfall has the best character designs and storyline imo. You can probably get both for pretty cheap now seeing as nightfall is over a year old.

glad I didn't wait for the price to drop lol. Anyways its just over 30 at amazon.com and nightfall is 36$ s'not really much of a discount though when you include s&h.

Iam almost done with the Prophecies main storyline. Can someone refresh my memory....who doI speak with in Lion's Arch to get to the Nightfall campaign?
