I am looking for a place to farm skull or shadow shields that have a strength requirement and have an inscription slot.
I have checked guild wiki and done the first city and CoF but all the skull shields drop with a command requirement.
I would prefer a 2 man farm that doesn’t require a hero.
Farming Skull / Shadow Shields with a STR Req.

Cathedral of Flames is one my farming rotations but all I can remember getting is Command requirements. Does the skull shield with a strength requirement drop there and I am just missing them. Again be nice if I was wrong and just been unlucky.

I got a stupid amount of skull shields doing Kilroys punchout.
Also, HM 55hp Faranur runs are good for them.

Just finished the Fahranur, The First City. Got one grape max r9 tact shark tooth shield and 2 skull shields, both are command. I keep going but all I am getting is command requirement on the skull shield.
Did the knock out extravaganza twice and no shield dropped, one more time can't hurt? Just to remind everyone I am looking for a strength requirement skull shield or shadow shield farm that does not involve heroes.

they DO drop in the first city mission...u just have to be patient and keep trying and ull get one eventually....or if ur just looking for one im sure u can find one fairly easily...they drop all over the place.

Ran the city for a couple of hours last night and the results are:
4 Skull Shields Req 9 Command (2 Gold & 2 Purple) 2 Sharktooth Shield Req 9 Tactics (1 Gold & 1 Blue) 1 Ancient Shield Req 10 Command I am not complaining because I really do enjoy farming especially and I can not complain about the drops (going to keep the gold sharktooth) but even the skull shields I am not picking up in the first city have a command requirement. I just don't think that the skull shield with a strength requirement is going to drop on this map. I am going to keep farming the first city but if anyone has a different suggestion I would like to hear it.

As for the inscriptable shadow shields,the only farm spot you can get them is during the drakes on a plane quest.The obsidians drakes drop them,only 4 spawn there though.

hey i farm spectral vaettirs for glacial stones and it dropped a req 9 unid skull shield before which i sold but it confirms for you that its in eotn hm spectral farms dropped.

if you want Gold non ins Skull or Skeleton Shields, do GoK Farm on HM they drop alot from Melee monsters and Chests will drop them and if you are lucky enough a dual dmg mod Skull or Skeleton Shield will drop from the chest or Monster.

whats the average to get a chaos axe or shadow shield, out of how many runs do u have to do to get it..

Known about this farm for a while but always doubted that shadow shields dropped until I saw the screen shot.
I would guess that I have ran this farm 30+ times and the only thing I have every gotten was a white chaos axe from the last drake, like noted before you only have four chances to get it to drop and the fact you have to take a hero may have some affect even if you do kill him off. Was hoping to get away from hero's all together. I would still like to find a farm for the skull / shadow / skelton shield with a str mode. |
