Mini moa problem

I've gathered all the material in order to get my mini moa, dipped the egg in the water fall in faction, went to SF and add that big nasty forgeman poor hot lava on me but i still havent got my mini-moa. I wnt with a friend who had the material too and she got the little birdie.

Material i've got:

Hardened moa egg
Volcanic rock
Nesting material
Herring
Honeycomb
Branch of Junni berry
Zho's journal
Incubator kit

Did 3 run in SF and was carefull to stand directly under the molten metal while the Forgeman poored it. I was read carefully all the intruction on wiki before going to SF.
Did i missed something or is this a bug ?

(Idid get 3 nice greens on those 3 runs, shield, hammer and monk staff so im not to frustrated)

Did you put the ingredients inside the incubator kit (by double-cliking on it)?

Double check the wiki to make sure you followed all the instructions.

I don't know that many people who have tried it, so have never heard of any bug.

I did this quest just this past weekend and had no problems at all. Based on what you have posted, you should have received your Chick. Not sure why you haven't at this point.

Did you have the quest "The Final Assault"? (may be you simply joined a group with someone who had it?)

And, last, are you sure you were hit by the Sorrow's Flame? (meaning you were hit by the small 40 damage hits)

I think this may be your problem. There is a certain flame that you have to get exposed to. I had to move around to get the right one. In the room there. Also I didn't have the Final Assault quest(hitchhiked). But it was active on another party member and it worked for me.

Yep , i had the quest active (full party h/h) also did stand under the pooring liquid metal.

Gonna give it another go today (might drop some more greenies) and will post the result.

If I remember correctly, you get a little 'hex' icon in your corner telling you you have been hit with Sorrow's Flame. Simply getting the metal poured on you is not enough, it has to be the actual Sorrow's Flame.

Problem solve. I didnt "physically" put the material in the incubator. i tought they were already in it since when i opened it i saw the stuff in it.

So if you have the same prob. the solution it to drag and drop the materials in the incubator (witch is not indicated on wiki).

face----->palm a guy gave you the answer so you just wasted that run. you DID NOT PUT THE ITEMS INTO THE KIT!!!!! doubleclick the kit and click + drag the items into the incubator kit. (they should all be inside the incubator kit, so you should only be seeing the incubator kit...this save storage)

I've never tried to get a mini moa but in what you posted thats not really a "hex."

According to the picture, the items are in your inventory and not in the incubator itself. They have to be in the incubator to get the mini moa.

Yep that is your problem. Dble click the incubator. Then drag all the materials into it. Then go back down there.

Did just that and my brand new mini Moa is rampaging all over Deldrimor War Camp

Congrats. I really like my chick, and wished there were more scavenger hunts like it. I think it was one of the more creative things done, cudos!

I have to agree with that, it was awsome finding the things needed and not knowing what to look for next, or even what to do with them until later when you got the book.

And I really liked them spreading it across the different champains.
