I understand how Prophecies is basically Europe, Factions is Asia, and Nightfall is Africa/Eqypt, but what about some of the other areas of these campaigns?
For instance, how would you classify the Kurzicks? German? What about the Luxons? Kryta seems to be almost Amazon-like, or perhaps South and Central American. How about Vabbi? Middle-Eastern? Greek/Persian? Shing Jea Island has very Chinese-inspired architecture, yet a lot also seems Japanese.
What do you think?

Luxons would be Caribbean/Pacific Islander
Kryta is Mediterranean
Vabbi is very Arabian, kinda like 1001 Arabian Nights or something

Vabbi is pretty Persian (look at pictures of, say, the maidan in Isfahan and compare to Kamadan...)

I think it's pretty well-done if you can't pinpoint where certain areas are inspired from. That said, Kurzicks are Emo and the Luxons are from Hook.

The Norn are VERY 6th century Gaelic Irish/Welsh. Heroic deeds through battling and most of their social structure and archetecure is similar.
MoriaOrc
It seems like a lot of Luxons have Latin names, but their culture is obviously much different. The Jade Sea seems to be very heavily inspired by Japanese Wood Cuts of the ocean and waves (and I'm sure I've heard somewhere that this is the case).
Mangione
Luxons have Greek names.
Some of the Vabbian architecture, for example the one ouside Bazaar Kodash where you have to defend the bazaar from Margonites, reminds me of southern Italy (Amalfi and Sorrento) and some areas of Sicily. (Those areas were a cultural melting pot centuries ago, some were conquered or under the influence of arabians)
