Reporting Gold Sellers

i had 2 gold sellers pm me this evening , and i was looking to report them , however i wasn't sure what would be the best thing to report them for . if you get pmed by them / see them advertising in chat do you report for spamming or botting?

Seems like every time i try to report one of these people, i get the "you must be in the same district to report....." However, I get this even when I am in D1 and there are hardly any people around. I didn't actually check how many districts were active but I assumed there was only one. Is there any way for them to spam w/o you being able to report them..ie hiding somehow. I want to report them, but I am not going to interrupt my gameplay and cycle throught districts just to do so.

Whispers are "world-wide". They can be anywhere and whisper to you. They can even whisper while you're in an instance.

their in the same district for me , and i presume you report for botting .. correct me if wrong

Usually they are in the same district than you, but the bots or people advertising, most likely it's bots switch district very quickly and often. Probably to avoid being reported, they're not fast enough if you wait for them though. Seen a lot of this in Shing Jea monastery lately.
