Skill Hunter Title not working.

Just wondering if any of you have capped all the skills and had the count still show 1 off? I have the tyrian and elonian skill hunter titles, and i have capped every skill in cantha but it still shows me as having 119/120. I have the title from elona so it's not the whole "Do you have the elite lightbringer signet or wurm skills" thing. I've printed the factions list and checked it that way... and I've compaired my skills list to the balthazar guy in the Guild Hall that you unlock skills with, and I have every elite skill he has to offer.

Did you double check and triple check and quadruple check?

Also, the Balthazar guy isn't the most accurate especially if you've unlocked elites through faction.

I would go thru each profession and see how many elites they have, then count yours. somewhere you are off by one (duh you know that ), but this way you will be able to narrow down which one it is.

Check it against the list on Wiki.

PS: When I did it I came up one short in one campaign. Went through the whole list again and found I was missing one. It's easy to overlook one.

Yeah, I printed out the list off wiki, and checked them off as I capped them, and I pulled up my skills list next to the balth guy, so I wasn't just looking to see if I had unlocked them, I was makingsure I had them in MY skills list.

Try Mapping Out to track your skills. Just go through your list and check off the ones you have, and it'll find the one you're missing.

k thanks, Biggest thing I was wondering is if anyone knew of a bug. If not, I guess I'm just missing it. Which would be a little embarassing but still a relief.

Yeah, ive never heard of bugs for the canthan skill hunter, dunno though.

Wiki does state that if you take lightbringer signet as your LAST elite skill, it wont work. Not sure if this has been sorted or if this is what you mean by:

But just thought I'd mention it.

Just because it's unlocked on your account doesn't mean you capped it on your character. You could have got one factions elite by unlocking it via faction/capping it on another character. Sort your characters skills to campaign, and check every elite for every profession.

Read please. He already explained that: he was just using the Balth guy as a list of skills, and checking it against what he had.

It's still possible that he forgot about a skill he unlocked with faction and not capping. There's a chance for error with this unless you never ever PvP.

Elites can also get unlocked if you got them on a different character.

Happens to all of us. I spent like a half hour going over my elite list for Tyria only to find out it was Life Transfer I missed.

Make a checklist like I do. It works wonders.

I know you've already got the title, but for those that did what I did and used the crappy official guides by Prima (promoting Mending on Warriors at +1 regen ftl (not that Mending is any good at +3, but meh)) as a checklist, then keep in mind that Expel Hexes is NOT in the book. Get that first so you don't forget it.
