Getting this error all around the mst area of the US. Just wondering how or if it's widespread.

yep it happened when i went from an explorable area and tried to map travel to a town (kodash). i tried to get in 2 more times, same thing, logged in after every attempt, went on another character, same thing...
seems like it is a town issue ._. if that makes sense :P since i can log in the game at all and even try to select a character, it isnt router or internet provider or even a problem logging in. hmmm interesting.

I haven't had any error codes, but then again I haven't been on since 6:30pm est (Ohio). However, during that time, I was having constant lag spikes. Reading the tech forum, seems I'm not the only one. Perhaps it's storm related, but all that is is a wild guess.
Hopefully everything will be cleared up once my Hockey game is over :P

I'm from Europe, playing on Eu districts, was testing a farm run, had full backpack of random crap including a silver dye, died, pressed [Return Back to Outpost], outpost didn't load (0%), error code = 040, kicked to login screen. Logged in again with no trouble but my backpack was near empty (like before the 5-minutes long run) and my id-kit I used on that run was at 100 again.

I'm getting connection issues, but its due to us (my area close to St. Louis, Missouri) having almost 5 inches of snow atm and about 6 more expected
