Here is something I encountered yesterday...

And also yesterday I had just finished G.O.L.E.M. with my son, got the tapestry/2500 xp screen but when we were mapping back into Rata Sum, I received and 040 error. Could not Complete the operation.
Wait...
So I got booted to login screen logged in as same char got error again, twice more. switched char everything fine, then I was able to switch to first char again, cept the finished quest was not in my handbook...

Weird...

Did you try updating the video drivers? There's no telling how old the ones preinstalled on the computer are.

If the glitch doesn't go away, try deleting your gw.dat file to force the game to reload the game data. This won't affect your account, characters or anything as they're stored on the game servers.

I received the same error yesterday 3-5 times on a Sin I'm building on noob island. I was kicked a number of times due to the same error message... and my computer is brand new with top end graphics card etc. Drivers have all been installed.

I don't think the issue was individual computers and this thread may prove that.

There were a crapload of 040s last night - the official wiki was down for a while too. I think they've been having problems with a certain server farm.

Being an IT Professional, you would think I wouldn't assume Dell uses the same ethic I use when building a PC for someone...

The other weird thing is... in the cut-scenes, everyone's mouths move like they are a ventriloquist, with little to no movement at all. (Really noticeable on Asura)
