Well, I would say either run a "normal" derv bar, and have a smiting monk w/ judges insight. Or, put Vow of Strength on the derv, plus Heart of Holy Flame, and an IAS (Heket's Rampage is popular for this); the rest of the enchants are up to you. I would go w/ the VoStr personally, because I've run variants of it, and they are quite resilient. Also, unlike avatars, it's simple enough for the ai to use effectively; w/o huge down-times.

And Deathbane goes up to +25%.

And Deathbane goes up to +25%. VoStr is a good suggestion, Heart of Holy Flame... only if they don't have Aura of Holy Might (as it does holy damage even though it makes no mention of doing so). Heket's Rampage is a good ias with VoStr I'll agree. Of course, no reason not to have someone put judges insight on you as well as the sundering is still a welcome benefit.

As for the 25% for bane mods, that is an old figure, and the highest possible now is 20%. I don't even remember seeing such a mod on a scythe either. I've seen them on staffs all the time, sometimes on bows and every once in a while on warrior weapons, gl finding one on a scythe as I believe all the ones I found for bows/warrior weapons were not in NF.

I didn't say Aura of Holy Might because he wants to run it on a hero. But otherwise, if you have Factions, certainly use that instead.

If, for some reason, you didn't like VoStr, you might be able to cobble together an ok Wounding Strike build. Of course use either Judges Insight, or Heart of Holy Flame; but I think that the deep wound wouldn't be as helpful as the general damage boost. Having a Paragon w/ "Go For the Eyes!" could help too, but to really take advantage you'd need more than one physical(->holy) damage dealer.

About the mod, well, I guess guildwikis' outdated on "of slaying" mods, sorry about that. *sigh* I swear scythe mods are like hens teeth.

I know people will flame me for this but [skill]Avatar of Balthazar[/skill] on your hero isnt such a bad choice for an undead killer... add some nice attack skills like [skill]eremite's attack[/skill][skill]victorious sweep[/skill][skill]pious assault[/skill] wrong skill description, now does extra dmg and dw but doesnt recharge instantly if enchantment got removed, mods should update this... an IAS like [skill]heart of fury[/skill] and some utility/self healing and you're good to go...

I would use Heart of Holy Flame over Avatar of Balthazar and take Lyssa or Reapers sweep. I used this on my Hero and let her loose, kills undead super fast and very hard to kill her.

[skill]Reaper's Sweep[/skill][skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill][skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill][skill]Heart of Holy Flame[/skill][skill]Heart of Fury[/skill][skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Conviction[/skill]
