As an Avatar begins their adventure, it is expected that one could kill animals easy enough. but would you automaticly know how to kill a Troll? a Dragon?

Example
Player encounters level 5 Troll, and attacks.
Player does little to no damage to Troll.
Player 1 sees Player 2 kill Troll or Player meets NPC, NPC describes how to kill a Troll, Player can now kill Trolls easier.
As Player kills more Trolls, they gain a bonus aginst Trolls.

Trolls killed <1 5% damage.
Trolls killed 1-100 50% damage. Title "I have seen a troll or two"
Trolls killed 100 - 1000 100% damage. Title "Trolls dont scare me""
Trolls killed 1000 - 5000 105% damage. Title "I hunt Trolls"
(numbers are for concept only, and would need further research by developers)

Ok many Players would not like the grind of this idea, so, NPC who trains how to kill trolls can offer to teach all he knows, 100% damage for normal / max bonus for hardmode , also title will no longer be availiable.

For PVP balancing. Human, Charr, Asura .... can not have this title/bonus track.

So, basically, more easy ways to get max titles? More ways for new characters to have problems?

I honestly don't see any good thing that can come of this idea

For every kind of foe ingame not every foe, why the "o noes moar titles!!!" posts if you don't like titles ignore them but titles are Anets way of keeping players grinding till GW2

More titles the more gameplay time in my opinion. Anyway why shouldn't our characters get more efficent at killing foes the more of that kind they kill? It does make sence. I can see what you mean about titles like Vanquisher using this boost but would it hurt to give the less "l33t" amongst the playerbase a chance at the harder areas (To a mod; if this now degenerates into an Ursan flame fest sorry i mentioned this)
I'm going to have to /sign this, if it carries a gameplay boost or not i still think these hunter titles are a good idea. and are another "time-sink" to take players minds off the wait till GW2. com'on you can't announce your making a sequil in over a year and just forgetting the first game

less 1337 players do have a chance at the harder areas

actually getting better, consumables (/spit), not through dealing double damage to everything

I don't think we need more random titles.

Once I max that title, I'll be the best troll farmer, ever.

We really don't need more random titles, and the idea about damage ect is just really unneccessary.

Would let my 55 Monk farm those undead really fast though!

Guild Wars is not about grind, not even when you look at titles. Some titles people feel are a grind, but they are just different ways to play the game. This idea IS a grind. Kill more of a certain type of monster, or use an NPC to get credit for kills?

What I REALLY see something like this doing is introducing more PUG discrimination.

"GLF more for THK - must be maxed on Dwarf and Mursaat titles"

/unsigned - and I like having titles
