just thought id see what you all thought about it,
heres the gist, guy spamming "want to turn 250 ecto in 500? pm me"
so for fun, i pm him,
he explains he has a program that "rolls back" guildwars, that i have to go into a mission, drop my ectos on the ground, and he lags out, i click the pile twice, and get 500e in my inventory.
now, i know this is a scam, im no fool. but i play around with him for fun.
we enter thirsty river, he runs away till he gets to the ghostly hero, (may have something to do with it?) then tells me to drop it, so i drop my tengu curse staff. lol. hes like, it only works with rare crafting materials.
needless to say i call bs, let him know anet has his account name, and this conversation and what not.
heres what i dont get, how was he gonna get it? he as a d/mo and didnt use any skills except pious haste to run off.

I haven't seen that particular setup before, but my guess would be that he would talk to the hero to activate the cinematic, and out-run you back to whatever had been dropped.

BTW The name thing only applies if youre insulting/the person is insulting. If you're playing around and stuff or theres nothing serious about it you can leave it.
