Different strokes for different folks. I like the sword and bow world and would not be interested in a game with magic and bullets. I have enjoyed many strategy games based on WWII combat but there is no magic there.

But that's just me, and I'm sure there are many who would enjoy the guns and magic world.

Okay, this is the upmost retarded idea I have EVER seen. GW was intentionally meant to be a full on fantasy game. If you don't like it, leave. -.-

Interesting, where the magi able to use technology?
I.E. did they have substantial negative bonuses to their Hacking skill/firearms skill?

There'd still be magic, but instead of bows and arrows we'd have assault rifles & guns. Instead of spirits we'd have turrets and gadgets. Instead of undead we'd have robots. Another idea was to basically add more sci-fi elements on top of what we already have; robots as a new set of summons, but still have undead. Keep spirits but also have turrets. in addition to traps, also have land mines, etc.
Basically, if you want to play that, go play Hellgate: London (which is bad, by the way).

Yea, it's not a good idea, and it would only really appeal to someone who watches those weird Gundam shows that are on cartoon network at 11:30pm
