Something fun to do in GW

It's always fun to just explore. Some of those views are just breathtaking... I used to just do random missions and quests to help out my guildmates as well.

When I'm bored I either leave the game for a while or go to Presearing and Guide newbies around the place, taking them to the collectors and the outposts,aldo picking the trophies.

I also like to go help in low-level areas to taste a bit o that delicious "I'm a level 99 against level 1 enemies" feel you get when using the title and the skills against charr, XD.

Yeah sure I'm not big on titles also as well, but I do like exploring and just running around and slaying some monsters so I'll be up to do that anytime with you I just don't like to do it by myself, it gets very quiet and lonely sometimes.

But to Dragonaire: Yeah I love running around and finding areas that I've never been to with nice views, I just like to do it with an actual player instead of my hench! lol

Befor Factions came out I did all the Mission in Prophecies bout 100 times and Galrath each day, well now I mostly play Slavers Exil as its one of the few places back that ppl dont do with Heroes.

Stand near portal/gate in ToA(or any busy town where people PUG a lot) and wait for random invites. Accept the 1st one with 5 or more people then step out. As soon as you load step back in. Repeat until they kick you or they all leave. Cheap but fun.

I play something else.

hmmm And to think, I just go to towns with harder missions and actually join a pug to help ^^ haha Ohhhh, the joys I've apparently been missing! muah haha

When I get bored, I press the little X button at the top right of the screen.

After logging into my GW account I usually flip through my characters, then after a long sigh of dissatisfaction from not being able to find something interesting to do I X out. You just gotta realize, GW won't be your time sponge for ever.

if i get bored, i start an event.

all my time then gets consumed in organizing,funding,advertising,making stuff for it.

and by the time its ready or over i have many things simple to keep me happy in gw

Whenever I want something fun to do I either do a DD run or play some RA/TA.

I usually explore. Since I'm only 70% with Cantha, there are lots of cool things there that I haven't seen. Or, when I'm really bored, I hang around in the GH. I normally find stuff to do just before I want to log out.

No lie, guild wars is so much fun (and so much less frustrating) when you're not dealing with horrible ai :X

Aside from pvp, anything that makes me feel nostalgic is good. Like others I like exploring once and a while, and while the views can be great (crystal desert on the mountaintop by the giant fallen statue is one of my favorites), I enjoy the memories of playing through it all with friends for the first time more.

Haha, weird you made this thread Articus Red. I was only thinking of writing a similar thread myself yesterday. I'm very bored with the game, and it's not that there's lack to do, (as people will make loads of suggestions) it's that I don't have a lot of friends in the game like I did a long time ago. My 5 best mates stopped playing the game and I once took a break of 6 months from the game. I came back and didn't really follow up speaking to old friends as they'd probably forget who I was, lol.

I've completed factions 4 times. I've completed EoTN and have Prophecies too. I made a new Ranger character today and got him to level 20 by playing through Factions YET AGAIN. Just because I was bored! I have a 2 farming characters which I use occasionally but grinding out farming only interests me for a while.

I just get lonely on the game because I don't speak to anybody. My guild is ok and has it's own town, but I'd like to play through a game with somebody for a bit of a change. Speaking to another human when you play is all good! LOL As you said, you get a bit lonely just wandering around on your own.

I was going to ask if somebody wants to meet up, maybe go around vanquishing areas or something and just hook up whenever I'm playing that would be good. As you're looking, add one of my names on the left and we can meet up sometime to do some stuff.

Blame PvE warriors, or blame PvP wammos. Blame noobs in general, and never remember that you was a noob when you came to Guild Wars.

Also, you can star flaming in HA with a friend, or flaming in AB.

I start political and/or religious debates. Poor theists have no defense against a sane mind.
