I don't believe 7 even drop anymore, I believe Anet nerfed them. I don't really know for sure, but I'd be glad to find out sometime if a q 7 did drop. Anyway, as of now, q 7 are nerfed.

Thanks for the hints! Also, on the topic of Req7's being taken out of the game, If they had been taken out than they would show up on the High End Trading forum at crazy prices, well over whet they are currently going for. They would also almost never show up, like the eternal blade and the old school weps that REALY don't drop any more, you know the unconditionals.

a few notes after reading all of the posts:
- gaze of contempt removes ench from foes with 50% or more health..if ur a 55, then aren't you only at like 10-20% of health? Does that mean at 55hp ur at 100% of health, or am I misunderstanding that concept?
- Lower level monsters drop lower req' golds, but I wonder out of those 'rare' drops, how many are actually max damage. I've had gold weapons drop from lev 15 ettins outside of Nebo Terrace, and Juvenile Bladed Termites in Elona, but never max.
- If you farm an area over and over, is there still an anti-farm code and does loot-scaling come into play at all, which all serve to minimize your chance of such uber-rare stuff?
I need elucidation on the above, please help.

Pics of weapons with a mod of 7 ( and them being max'd ) are easily photoshopped, as I shown earlier, had I touched it up a bit more it would have been more convincing, but the point is alot of sad people spend ages photoshopping these screen shots to make it seem as though they have a max r7 weapon with a recent skin to prove they still drop.
I'm not saying they don't still drop, but I'm not in a position to say whether they do or don't, if someone shows me one in trade with a recent skin, or it's verified by ANET, then I'm a believer :P
