Saw a few requests for a solo farm build for the raptor nestlings. Interrupts make a 130 derv pretty useless here. The below build works pretty well in normal mode once you get used to using it. I'm using the asuran skills at rank 4 and they kill pretty fast.

Skills are as follows:

Glyph of Concentration (Ele)
Armor of Earth (Ele)
Radiation Field (Asuran)
Mental Block (Asuran)
Pious Renewal (Derv Elite)
Mystic Regeneration (Derv)
Aura of Thorns (Derv)
Armor of Sancity (Derv)

Equipment:
Standard 70 armor, runes optional
Axe with I have the power and +20% enchanting
Shield with 16 armor + health

Before aggroing cast AoE, PR, MR and then GoC. Aggro and approach and put MB up. By this point the groups should be pounding on you so MB will remain up. Before GoC ends cast RF. Now cast AoT and AoS and rinse & repeat until dead. Keep MR, AoS, and AoE going as much as possible to reduce damage. You should be keeping the guys under a conditions at all times so AoS will pretty much put you at 0 dmg. PR is your energy management so don't forget about it or you might run out.

Can clear everything except the boss group in about 3 minutes, drops sorta suck since it's NM but I do score a lot of lockpicks. Let me know what you think (and I know theres better ways to farm these but I haven't seen much for dervs yet).

Not to burst your bubble, but this is going to be absolutely useless unless your looking for r7 golds or Saurian Bones. But I do congratulate you on creating a Dervish build to do it, I was trying to find one earlier, couldn't, so thanks!

Not bursting any bubbles, I knew that going in. I DO get a decent amount of lockpicks though, seems like 1 every 3-4 runs.

Doesn't solo farming reduce the drop rate of collectable drops (e.g. those bones) anyway? Don't think lockpicks are scaled though.

Well if its the bones you want those drop all the time. Best gold drop I've gotten is a q7 14-24 turtle shell bow.

Here is a build I made for solo raptor farming to get special event items ie... bunnies/eggs etc.

D/W

Tactics - 12
Earth - 14
Mysticism - 4

I'm using windwalker insignias and a zealous scythe of enchanting.
Have your asuran title on.

Skills:

SandShards
Gladiator's Defense - E
Whirlwind Attack
Mystic Regen
Armor of Sanctity
Aura of Thorns
Eternal Aura
For Great Justice

Run to the raptors, right before you agro anything cast SandShards, then run around and agro all of the raptors except the Boss group. Cast Gladiator's defense and start attacking raptors, cast mystic regen, aura of thorns, armor of sanctity, eternal aura. Hit whirlwind attack when you can and recast mystic regen if you need to, but they should all be dead very quickly. After they are dead let your spells recharge and go for the boss group, this is where i use For great justice just so i can hit whirlwind more. You should be able to kill em all and get your drops before the boss kills you. Once you get used to the build you can do this run in a couple of mins. You can also swap out For great justice with bonetti's defense but I've found i don't need it.
